Nana'a food is to die for. It's absolutely the best spot in Durham, which is saying a lot. You will not be disappointed.

Go to Nana's for a great fine dining experience. Food was superb, very tasty and unusual creative seasonings/accompaniments by the chef. Attentive yet unobtrusive wait staff. Only negative was that, on a Thursday evening, there seemed to be quite a few business groups of 6-8 so loud conversation across tables made it rather difficult to carry on a couples conversation.

One of the top restaurants in Durham, NC. Nice ambience, excellent service, wonderful food -- with great variety. Uses local sources for the freshest ingredients. Try the "Nana's crack" (fried okra) -- it's habit forming. LOL

We visited Nana's restaurant yesterday evening to celebrate my best friend's birthday and it was an overall great experience. We selected the tasting menu with its savory to sweet selections. The halibut and the short rib dishes were prepared with complimentary seasonings that were delicious. We will certainly return on our next visit to Durham.

Nana's doesn't need another positive review. But here it is. I've been coming here for seven years, regularly. It is always good. But we went in late August 2015 and were blown away. We had the fried okra (not on the menu, but ask) followed by roasted quail with black rice and balsamic sauce. Accompanied by a risotto stuffed chile... More

Culinary Delight pretty much sums up the evening. Excellent waitstaff and helpful wine steward in picking out wines when I ordered one that out. The food was cooked to perfection and presentation was perfect. The lemon pound cake with homemade blueberry ice-cream with a double expresso caped off a wonderful evening.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and our server, Mike, was excellent. They even worked with me on my food allergies. My husband enjoyed the tasting menu, and I had a delicious fish dish. Everything was perfectly prepared. Oh, and the panna cotta was divine. Would definitely recommend, and we will return.

Intimate restaurant with small separated rooms decorated with modern art. Menu is varied with gourmet sauces and herbs. Expert chef who knows how to season. Wait staff is very attentive and compliments your experience. Prices are moderate and a good value. A fine selection of wines is available. Excellent restaurant for a special occasion. more for adults than families. You... More

One of the best French cuisine I have tried in Durham. The tasting menu with paired wine was really awesome. The fish is fresh and properly cooked. The resorto was tasty. The stewed beef wad tender and delicious. The banana dessert was also great. Another thing need to be mentioned is the fabulous service and private WiFi. Do you know... More
