We were visiting our son at Duke and he took us to Nana's. We had never heard of it but we were certainly impressed. Our server was quite knowledgable about the menu and was very conversant on the wine offerings. His knowledge of several CA wines with which we were familiar was impressive. The rib-eye, pork and swordfish were all... More

I took my husband here for his birthday and fell in love with this place! We ordered the tasting menu along with the wine pairings. Everything was amazing! Our server was fantastic and the wines he chose paired absolutely perfectly with each course. Every single component of our meal was excellent, even the complimentary bread and butter. Nana's isn't cheap,... More

My husband and I went to Nana's for our anniversary dinner. This is one of the restaurants I had yet to try and have heard nothing but great reviews. My husband to my great surprise decided to try one of their specialty dishes, risotto, (he had never tasted risotto before) and loved it. I had the wood-fire grilled swordfish which... More

Put this on your list! We have to drive about a half hour to get to Nana's but its worth it! Fantastic service coupled with local food so perfectly prepared & a masterful presentation - the experience is a must for every foodie out there. Try the pate appetizer, beet salad, and flounder! If there is a ding in their... More

Hard to get a bad meal here. Some are just good, some are exquisite. Occasionally so-so. Heavy reliance on risotto. Service is snooty to excellent. Need a nice gluten-free bread but my requests have been in vain. Wines by the glass in 2 sizes and will accommodate you request for last fill as a 1/2 glass. Never bee there when... More

Took parents for dinner on a Saturday night. Made a last minute reservation for 5 pm. Parents loved everything about the restaurant; the coziness, food, and wine. They are very picky so I am happy this place meant their high expectations.

Went to Nana 10/6/14 for our 35th wedding anniversery. Order the tasting menu with wine. 5 course dinner (small plates) each with a different wine (2.5 oz). Not a huge quantity of food, but everything ranged from very good to excellent. It was a great meal format for a special occasion. Wines were very good, not great. Service was outstanding,... More

the prep, service, quality of food and atmosphere make this my favorite in the Research Triangle. The salmon was crispy and had a wonderful creamy texture. I would choose this restaurant for all important occasions!

Great food with excellent service. Relaxed atmosphere with dining on the finer side. We made reservations and were seated immediately. Jonathan did a great job, good enough that we would ask to set in his section on our next visit.

One of the best meals I've had in a while. Two of us had the duck , the other had veal. Everyone agreed it was one of their best meals. We all want to go back for the tasting menu as we didn't have time last night. The appetizer was so-so and I wouldn't order that again. We were in... More
