A stunning Meal. The special hot fois gras was superbly prepared. The quail was succulent and perfectly served with a whole wheat polenta and Brussel Sprouts. The Grouper was pan seared and was simple but prepared also perfectly. Our server was informed and professional. A terrific dinner!

What can I say, we chose this restaurant based on the reviews, and they did not disappoint us. Great food choices, and and server as awesome.

I was reading restaurant recommendations upon arriving in Raleigh-Durham and happened across a Nana's recommendation while reading a review of a different establishment. I found Nana's website appealing and made a reservation. The restaurant has a warm, inviting ambience with walls of interesting artwork. There is a limited but interesting wine list and my husband and I enjoyed our selections.... More

Ate there a few months ago with a group of friends. What a pleasent surprise. We all ate something different and all the food looked fabulous. This has become my 'Go To' place when I want a great meal with great service.

Excellent restaurant. Well prepared food, presented artfully and served by very competent wait staff. Striped bass with fiddle ferns, black lentils, accompanied by a delightful blood orange reduction was outstanding, as was the carrot soup, chicken liver pate and beet salad. Vibrant and attractive bar, tall table eating area complimented the balance of the well appointed restaurant.

The restaurant has been a stable presence in Durham for almost 20 years, and it continues to be one of the best in the RTP. With a humble beginning, it has remained on the same premises, but has grown immensely, but has kept it's small restaurant feel. The staff are personable and incredibly knowledgeable. The chef and pastry chef have... More

Recently dined at Nana's with a friend, was greeted by our waiter Neil, professional, informed and well refined. Just the right amount of advice, personal favorites and accurate information. We chose the Lamb shank and the duck breast. OMG. Simply wonderful.

Okay, I am not a restaurant critic, but Nana's deserves special mention. In our group of four, we were all pleased for different reasons. Nana's accomodates vegetarian diners with good selections and more flexibility than most fine restaurants. The seafood dishes were excellent. My pork chop was flavorfull but pretty chewy. I could have done better buying at Cliff's Meat... More

We visited Nana's to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday recently. It was perhaps my fifth or six time there over several years, and my parents have visited more times than that, as they live much closer. I was pleased to see that the experience was as top-notch as it ever has been. We started with some excellent house-made bread -- our... More
