Wish it was closer!

Stopped here passing through town and I wish it was closer! Atmosphere was really cool, great family table seating. The burgers are to die for. Plenty of beer variety on tab and fresh iced tea. Their feature beer came with a free pint glass. It's cool to see them brewing the batches right... read more

I have been here about 1/2 dozen times over the past couple years. Perhaps it was the novelty of pour your own wine, or micro-brew in Durham, or duck-fat fries that had me coming back. I even referred friends and coworkers regularly. I realized on my past visit of 6/2015 that this really is not a great place to go:... More

We stopped by here on a food tour and loved it so much that we went back after the food tour was over! On the food tour, the owner took the time to give us the history/background of the restaurant and its food which was very impressive. We learned all about the quality of their farm to table ingredients and... More

We went here for the first time with 10 of our friends after a show at DPAC & we'll never go back again...even with the coupon for free food that the harried manager gave us to get us out the door so he could deal with the myriad of other problems he was facing that day! The menu was interesting... More

Service is fantastic!!! Staff was engaging and fun!!! Burger was fantastic with incredible toppings but served on a STALE bun!!! Nearly ruined everything. Duck frites are a must have side.

This place has good burgers and beer, if you like this type of food. Burgers are small. Place is quite noisy. I do not think it's family friendly, but they do have corner with toys for small kids. Service was good. Basically, it's a good place for bar type food and good drink.

This place is going to be crowded on any given Friday, Saturday or Sunday. They're fantastic, so that's the reason. Try to go on a weekday -- bring the family and an appetite. Really cool local fare. They pride themselves in the fact that they know where their food comes from.

Great burgers and fried pickles, sodas without high fructose corn syrup (cane sugar only), and the owner cares passionately about providing a quality product that is sustainable for the environment. Highly recommended.

The conference I attended in Durham ended on a Sunday, and not a lot of places seemed to be open but this place was. If you like burgers, hot dogs and beer this is your place. The basic burger is $6.75 and add a buck or two for add ons other than the basic garnishes. The bread is fresh baked,... More

Visiting Durham and went to Bull City Burger & Brewery on a recommendation. Hubby and I shared a burger and the onion loaf and he also had the chili. Food was fresh, fast and delicious. Staff was humping, as the place stayed busy. Hubby had a pint of the Regulator Doppelback, I had the Boars Russian Imperial Stout. We had... More
