Typical college student hang-out -- seating at wooden tables and at the quite extensive bar. Crowded, noisy and ultra-casual (although the music playing overheard was 70s/80s, which was unexpected). Excellent beer, perfectly cooked burgers at really reasonable prices, thin and crispy fries. A short way (1-2 blocks) away from the main area of downtown Durham's restaurant renaissance, but an easy... More

So the best description I can think of for this place is a Five Guys with a bar. The burger was good, tasty and reasonable value for money as were the fries very reminiscent of Five Guys in taste and price. The place itself is a little odd. Decor is basic, wooden tables and chairs laid out in long rows... More

One of the better burgers I nave eaten. Wide variety of burgers to choose from but menu is limited otherwise.Located in older building that fits the place. Prices are reasonable for what you order.

My husband and I went to Bull City for the first time this weekend and loved our experience. The food the employees all were top notch. The food is farm to table and sourced from as local as possible. The price was right on par with other quick serve restaurants ($6 for a three bean veggie burger). Ok my favorite... More

Doesn't get any better than this in a veggie burger! It's 3 bean and there's a special BCBB sauce to go on the burger... #yummy to my tummy a Bull City classic spot to bring a date, go solo, or the whole family!

Ate here with my brother and daughter. My daughter and I got Veggie Burgers and they were really good, and not too large or too small. Excellent choice of toppings a lot of the free but a lot of them extra which can be pricey. For example my daughter got Pimento Cheese for $2 dollars extra. My brother got a... More

I was downtown for business this week and visited here for the first time. Along with a co-worker, I ordered a cheeseburger, fries and water and sat at the bar. The atmosphere was good. The bun was too big (too much bread) so the burger was somewhat dry until I added ketchup. However the fries were very good. No one... More

I have been to BCBB countless times. If you're in a small party, and it's available, I recommend sitting at the bar. The beer, great. The food, incredible. The service and the people, fantastic. The one and only problem I have with the restaurant is the fact that they have messed my order up the past 6 times I've been... More

Took the kids and their friends to enjoy local food on a Friday evening. The place was crowded and a bit loud. The kids ages 12-19 loved the food. They also serve a great veggie burger for a healthy eaters / vegie lovers.

My husband had read that BCBB was supposed to be above average for burgers so we decided to try it out. We got to the restaurant and a young man explained the procedure for placing our orders and he was great. We both ordered standard cheeseburgers (it's what we like) and fries and got some wonderful homemade soda (Puck's) and... More
