Stopped by on 10/27/13 to eat breakfast. Restaurant was closed. Upon looking inside, you could see that tables and chairs had been removed. No note on the door as to what was going on. Trash and recycling were still on-site.

We used to go this place, but after numerous incidents of over medium eggs being presented way under cooked. There were more than several times when we needed to return eggs 2 or 3 times to get something close to over medium. Really like the staff and some of the neat things they do but it does not make up... More

This is diner food but even better. Fantastic breakfast dishes, 1/2 pound burgers, great sandwhiches. Supper meals are excellent and the portions are large enough you'll be taking some home. The meatloaf special is great and there is a second meal for you to take home. We go often and have not been disappointed!

A couple friends and I dined here on a Friday evening. I had a restaurant.com coupon to use, so we took advantage of it. Our waitress was Ashley, who was accomodating and friendly. As our luck would have it, shrimp and grits was the special. During recent vacations to North Topsail Beach, I have been wanting to try shrimp and... More

I've been here a couple of times in the last year. The first time we came for lunch and I got a salad. It wasn't anything special ... iceberg lettuce, cheap tomatoes, cucumber, lots of cheese and really thick ranch dressing. It was OK, but I was a bit put off by all the water in the bottom of the... Tried our luck with 3 other places on a Sunday for brunch. All were full and unaccommodating with waits as much as 1 hr. Really, for breakfast? So finally the kids recommended ERE. An wow we were seated right away and while food came out of the kitchen a bit slow, it was worth the wait. For a fraction of... More

My wife and I went here for dinner last night, first time visit (we had a gift certificate). Really neat place with art work and painted stones decorating the walls and windowsills. It was a nice, relaxing experience. Our server, Alex, was an absolute gem! She was wonderful. The portions here are really big. We ordered their chef salad, and... More

Campy, fun, simple, good. Breakfast, lunch or dinner any time of day; whatever you feel like eating, it's your choice. The staff can be crazy like our waitress today or quiet and efficient, but the painted rocks at the entry and in every windowsill convey the fact this place is a little different. The Summer Salad was terrific, but I... More

I've been here for lunch on several occasions and I'll always get some sort of salad. The service is great. The atmosphere is nice. The music and location are nice. The only (small) complaint I have is that there is always a puddle of water at the bottom of my salad. If the kitchen would invest in a salad spinner... More
