Beautiful day to eat outside

They only have Tacos on Tues…! We wanted Tacos! :) We had drinks and appetizers as a substitution! Will have to go back for dinner…! Hear it is very good!

It is too expensive, and the food is way too complicated for Mexican. They have tried way too hard to make it unique. Cactus - yuk. Weird sauces, poor flavors, too expensive.

The problem for me at a place like this, the food is quasi Mexican food. If you line sweet chutney type ingredients, you'll like it. If you like more traditional Mexican food, there's not a lot on the menu, except tequila drinks. I tried the chorizo poblano, which was the most savory on the menu. It had peppers and nopal... More

Eating at Dos Perros is living the pure life - everything made from scratch with only the freshest and best ingredients. This is Latin Cuisine at its finest. The specials of the day are always extraordinary. I have been dining at Dos Perros for four years and recently left Durham for a new chapter of my life in Atlanta. There... More

My family went before an event at DPAC and the location is great, just before a show. The menu is small and strange and nothing sounded good. My kids are fairly adventurous eaters and my husband is extremely adventurous but this was not good. We struggled to find something to order. It feels like they are trying to be too... More

Very good salads, great windows on the street, nice staff and gluten free! Upscale and clean with extensive menu choices for all diners in your party. Go before your DPAC event.

The food is always delicious and a great dining experience. The service has never disappointed us. As someone who needs to eat gluten-free, I love this place and what they have to offer.

Had a quick dinner here and was looking for some healthy fare. Have been to some trendy Mexican restaurants in other cities lately and was surprised to see a real lack of interesting tacos or small dishes. (Apparently they have a separate taco night menu.) Mostly this menu is full of larger entrees. Don't shy away from the wild boar... More

We've eaten at Dos Perros a long time ago for dinner and once when they offered weekday breakfast. This time we made a reservation for Sunday brunch and were easily seated (it was very sparse at 10:30 on a Sunday. Members of our party had the boar chorizo, eggs and chorizo, and the hangover burrito. Portions were decent, we had... More

I've spent much of my life in Texas and have a pretty low opinion of most restaurants that try to pass themselves off as "Mexican". Dos Perros stands out as the one I would go back to. The cuisine there is more akin to actual Mexican (ie not Tex-Mex) and I would recommend it wholeheartedly over any other Mex place... More
