Went there for lunch. Food tastiness, price and value for money is average. The highlights are the variety of dishes on the menu, premise cleanliness and free corn chips + guacamole served to you once you’re seated. Worth mentioning is the spacious seating and relaxing atmosphere. The service was definitely good, but we expected this because of the tipping arrangement... More

In town for a conference, I walked from the hotel to Dos Perros, arriving 15 minutes before opening. I came back shortly after 5pm opening, was the only person to be seated. Quick water and margarita special, with chips and salsa (green, not overly hot). Was surprised at the menu, not the typical mexican fare. Eclectic choices, including appetizers with... More

We showed up on a Sunday twenty minutes before the place opened, the door was open and the first thing we heard was we are not open!, I asked permission to wait in their waiting area and I heard another we are not open!. I don't know what type of restaurant is the one where they kick out paying customers... More

Ate here for the first time with a group of folks my wife works with. Our server was consistently attentive and helpful throughout the meal. At his recommendation, I had the special entrée of the night. It was a roasted chicken thigh and leg with a zucchini and chickpea "salsa." The flavor was excellent! The amount of food on the... More

Took the band and crew here after their show and sat at the bar. Great atmosphere, great bartender, great menu. We had many serious tequila drinks and a selection from the menu. Not your typical Mexican restaurant, or rather it was a real Mexican restaurant.

If you're looking for chips and salsa to be set immediately on the table for you, do NOT go here. This delicious restaurant is more of a US-Mexican fusion restaurant than your average Mexican restaurant, with entrees such as grilled steak and lamb enchiladas. If you find yourself here, I highly recommend the guacamole.

We have traveled to central Mexico on a number of occasions and know that real Mexican food has little to nothing to do with Tex-Mex food. Dos Perros is much more on the authentic Mexican style using a variety of meats: lamb, duck, pork, a variety of seafood, etc. My wife and I had the Cochinita Pibil, a Mayan-style pork... More

Dropped by for an early dinner with a friend on Friday night. They were already busy at 5:30, but no problem getting a table. Chips and salsa are fresh and plentiful. The menu is fairly limited. My friend ordered several appetizers and I had the vegan enchiladas. I'm not vegan, but most of the entrees are heavy on meat and... More

This was one of the best Mexican Restaurants in NC. Food is wonderful. Not the usual tacos and burritos, but duck legs, lamb and great braised dishes. Experience a different taste of Latin Cuisine at this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. Can't wait to get back there.
