Happened upon this cute foodie shop which has a little bit of everything to tempt you. But the best discovery was their homemade pimento cheese/avocado/tomato toasted sandwich with side of equally great cole slaw. I felt like I had died and gone to heaven it was that good. Sat outside on the deck & rested after shopping at next door... More

This is a locally owned sandwich and breakfast cafe located inside a gift shop. There is a great covered deck to eat outside too. The food is always excellent, fresh and generous. The staff is friendly and free coffee refills. A favorite place.

This a really cute counter service spot that also sells candy, home goods, wine, etc. The sandwiches are great! It is a fun place to shop and eat. Not cheap, but worth it!

This spot is a true gem of Durham. Best for brunch but great anytime. Come with the family, for a business meeting or just to shop their sundries. This place has it all. I love everything about the ultra-fresh, local and creative dishes. Supporting local farmers is important to me and i prefer to patronize the businesses that think the... More

This review is for the retail gift shop element of Parker & Otis as I have never dined there. The merchandise sold at P&O is gold for any occasion where you need a "fun" gift for a female. I went there to get a Mother's Day gift and got a great Jonathan Adler item for my Mom plus a Scout... More

The only critique I have is that it is a very self serve atmosphere. The food was good and we never felt rushed.

This is a favorite spot of mine in Durham. The deli sandwiches are well made and delicious. Portions are very large, so these may easily be split and shared or saved for later. The lines at the sandwich counter are long all afternoon and the kitchen is very slow: I must have waited 45 minutes for 3 sandwiches. I guess... More

Forgot about this place for awhile but glad we decided to go after driving by. Great place to relax and chat over breakfast or excellent turkey sandwich with fresh made salad. Coffee good too. Bathrooms a bit tricky, not too available and quickly noted that employees seemed to be using them for an extended phone/email break?

A friend took me telling me about how cool the store is. I ended up with several selections but could get into real trouble considering they have wine, coffee, cookbooks, Big Spoon nut butters, etc., etc.

My wife and I checked this place out recently on our way to the Carolina Theater to see a stand-up comedian perform. I had a peanut butter, banana & bacon panini that was drizzled with honey. I had never had anything quite like it, so I couldn't pass up that opportunity. It was absolutely worth it! Apparently Elvis Presley had... More
