Excellent Food

Best Chicken in Town!! Also, love the black beans and rice, and sweet plantains. I could eat there everyday. :-)

I have been to this small little place plenty of times since they open up and let me tell you, they have some good chicken...the plantains, with the black beans or tostones and that yellow sauce... you will wanna lick your fingers.

My family drove past this restaurant and decided to try. Excellent choice. The smell of good food hits my nose and stomach starts grawling.

First time to eat here but will definitely eat here again when in Raleigh. The chicken is so moist and tender and the seasoning is superb. We had a variety of the sides and each were delicious. The cilantro salad dressing is unique and very tasty. The handcut fries are excellent and the plantains are really good.

THE BEST CHICKEN I EVER HAD!!!! Service was extremely fast even with a line about 100 feet long at the lunch rush hour of 12:00, The only improvement I could recommend is when dinning inside during cold weather is to stay away from the front door and maybe more options on the sides. All and all,,, I would go back... More

The buildings these restaurants are located in are very unassuming, but don't let that fool you. The chicken is very juicy and literally falls off the bone. Flavor for days as well. Also, they are conscious of where they source their chicken and you don't have to deal with beefed up bird hormones in your body. Must go to restaurant... More

I finally got down to Mami Nora's for a take-out lunch today, and it was wonderful. My order: A Large Dark (chicken leg and thigh) with white rice and black beans. The chicken was tender, juicy, and flavorful. The rice and beans were also very good. I'm not sure what spices were used because I'm not familiar with Peruvian cuisine,... More

This review is for the Cary location - I have to say that the sides we chose were all excelent. The Chicken however was too spicy, too much black pepper. I have been to other Peruvian restaurants that do not load their chicken with a rub, If you are in New York, go to the restaurant called Pio Pio. What... More

A friend who works close to this restaurant recommended we eat here. A packed parking lot and good smells coming from the restaurnat was a good sign. Casual atmosphere and you order as you enter the restaurant. Prices are good and you get a good portion of food. Smokey flavored chicken was really good. Black beans were tasty (they put... More

Very expensive; I should have noted that there were only two diners there.I only chose this place in mistaken haste--but I shan't in the future.
