I have been to Tyler's many times over the years and don't think I have ever had a good or memorable meal there. Don't think I will be going back.

I took a few guests to Tylers Sunday night after the Durham Bulls game and I was worry we went. The staff was very rude! While waiting at the bar in the back we knew we were in trouble when the bartender was very rude to every customer he waited on. Then when we wanted to play corn hole outside... More

We have visited Tyler's several times in the last few years and have always had a nice experience. Because the big draw is the huge beer selection, it tends to be noisy with chatter, but has never been so loud that it was unbearable. The dinner portions are generous. Appetizer portions depend on what you order: the potato chips are... More

I seem to gravitate to the fish and fries at Tyler's even when I should be avoiding the amazing must eat them garlic fries. Most portions are more than enough to share. It is a little pricier than some however I have yet to regret a meal there.

Another loud restaurant, but the food is good. I like the fish 'n chips best.

Sat outdoors on a BEAUTIFUL afternoon in Durham. Lots of nanotechnology conference attendees talking too loudly to impress each other, but the breezy location compensated for them. The turkey avacado sammie, chicken wrap, monte cristo and tuna melt were all just above average; the garlic fries are incredibly intense (no amount of breath mints worked!), and the beer was cold.... We ate outside on a beautiful spring day with great service and a great atmosphere. The nachos were the best I've ever eaten, still crisp at the end rather than the usual soft soggy mess that's normally at the bottom. We went to a competitor "across the way" for another app and actually came back to Tyler's. We will be... More

The Durham, American Tobacco Campus, version of Tyler's supposedly offers seventy (70) beers on tap. Wow! What a selection. And included in this impressive roster are many seasonal varieties. If you are a real beer nut, this is the place. Too bad that the food is just okay. Ditto the service. But after two or three beers, who cares!
