an excellent find on I 95

After a grueling rain plagued, many mishaps trip on a Southern jaunt, I happened upon The Milestone Diner,my 1st bit of good luck on this trip. I opted for the buffet, which I rarely do, but this one was very clean and fresh. It was a Southern feast, butter beans, broccoli, string beans,carrots... read more

We had buffalo chicken, chili and corned beef hash with eggs. All were delicious and the friendly staff were very accommodating. Great stop off I-95.

Although we didn't eat here, this was a stop off of i95. We needed gas, bathroom break and a snack. We stopped here and the diner was so cute! It reminded me of what a diner would look like in 1950s. Great little pit stop.

MILESTONE DINER DUNN, NC Most people think NJ is The Garden State,  but it is really The Diner State.  I lived in NJ and some of the best places to eat have been diners. Working for National Geographic has me on the road and I am always looking for a new place to eat and connect. Came across Milestone Diner... More

We were looking for a good Restaurant to Grab a Bite to eat. Saw this Place, Sadler's Milestone Diner. Had a Great Waitress. The Chicken soup was Some of the Best I've ever Had. If we ever get back this way again it's a definite stop. And will Tell Everyone I know.

Stopped off the I95 for a quick bite and found this jewel! Grant it this is more a truck stop but all the internal decor is authentic, not reproductions. The food was quick, tasty and reasonable priced. We tried a "Hobo Plate", never heard of it and it was delicious. Good sized portion and not expensive at all, around $10.00... More

Got off of the interstate for a quick bite to eat. We were going to go to a sub shop but saw the diner and gave it a try. I had a deliciousness BLT and my wife had a salad with grilled chicken that was also very good, and more than she could finish. Service was very friendly. Definitely better... More

We stepped into the Happy Days TV set. I kept looking for Richie or the Fonz to walk in. Its a no-nonsense 50s type Café. The waitresses were nice and the food was good and plenty. They have a buffet or you can order a la carte. I ordered the Chicken salad sandwich, it was piled high and delish! my... More

I visited this restaurant on a available Sunday around 2pm to avoid the morning rush. It wasn't busy at all. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and a bowl of chicken soup. The soup was good, appeared to be homemade. The bacon cheeseburger was good but the bun wasn't your typical restaurant sized bun but more like a bun... More
