A great place to eat and catch fresh seafood on your plate. Hush puppies good, fried squash great, cole slaw best I've had, Fried Catfish was tender and perfect, no need for their tasty homemade tartar sauce. Of course the sweet tea was fresh. A fresh lemon slice would have perfected my tea, but no loss. Waitress was friendly and... More

Great seafood, always fresh and cooked just right. Small dining room but the food makes it worth it. As good as I have had anywhere at the beach. I have dined here many times and always look forward to going back

This little hole-n-the-wall doesn't look like much from the outside, but the jumbo fried shrimp, hush puppies and slaw I just had were much better than some of the higher priced seafood restaurants where I've eaten. Food was HOT, freshly prepared and service was great. But as others have mentioned, all food is fried unless you pay $2 extra for... More

Stopped here on our way through. The tilapia and catfish were fresh and tasty. Paid the $2 surcharge to have it sauteed (all other options are deep fried). The sides (potato salad, fries, green beans, boiled potatoes) were bland. There appeared to be one waitress for the 15-20 tables. The place was packed at 5:30 on Friday and clearly popular... More

Not bad, if you want fried everything. Shrimp and scallops under cooked. Lots of salt little else. Asked for lemon with our water, told it was in the yellow squeeze bottle. Could of been better with a local beer, but alas -- no beer.... All in it could have been much worse.

If you're looking for Calabash-style seafood, this is it! In fact I can't think of a place in Calabash, NC that even comes close for the price and quality. No a big place, but definitely worth a detour off of I-95.

My family was traveling up I95 back to Maryland from Florida on Good Friday looking for a meatless meal and we found this little place here on trip advisor. We enjoyed our food very much. It is very casual so our "traveling clothes" were acceptable. The service was excellent, the young lady was pleasant and prompt. Hush puppies best I... More

Locally owned and operated seafood eatery in Dunn, NC. Food was served Fast, fresh and hot. Tasted great - absolutely no issues with serving size. Staff was kind, courteous as is standard for N.C. Had the popcorn shrimp platter. It resides in a shopping center approximately 3-4 miles from the interstate. After your meal, travel another 3-4 miles down Hwy... More

I was staying in Dunn for a month and Jim's was having a fresh South Carolina shrimp special, and it was excellent!! The shrimp were fried just right! And they had zuccini fritters that were great! Looking forward to my next trip to Dunn
