There may not be an over abundance of restaurants open on the Outer Banks in January but we were certainly glad this was one of them. We went for dinner on Friday and Brunch on Sunday. The menus for each were creative and the food was delicious. The staff was first rate and the guitarist at the Sunday Brunch was... More

This was the best place we ate at all weekend. The calimari was fork tender, sautéed and not fried, and was the best I have eaten in years. The special was tuna with pork and shrimp fried rice. It was fantastic! The desert was pecan pie with bourbon vanilla ice cream. If you are in the Duck area, I highly... More

We live in the area and wanted to try something new so after hearing good things about the restaurant we decided to give it a try. The decor is inviting for both a fancy dinner and a casual evening out. The menu had a variety of items though even the bar menu has upscale additions to the items which made... More

I've not had a bad meal at this restaurant and visit every time I'm in Duck. The menu is thoughtful and well-crafted and they are very accommodating if someone in your party has specific dietary restrictions. The menu changes pretty regularly - catered to what's in season. I had the short ribs there just a week ago and the dish... More

We love to go to the Blue Point whenever we are in Duck. Great atmosphere, service and food. The menu is not huge, but we always enjoy the food!

The menu here is impressive and I hope to come back to really try it out. On this trip however I was there for dessert. The waitress made a point to tell us that EVERYTHING is made fresh there, including the ice cream. We were here for dessert for our anniversary and it was a great choice. We both had... More

I'm always a little skeptical of higher-priced restaurants, but The Blue Point was worth every penny! Excellent service & excellent food! We had a 7:00 pm reservation & arrived around 30 minutes early and were seated immediately. Our waiter was very attentive & helpful. I ordered the scallops (AMAZING!) & my fiance had the pork chop. We both agreed that... More

I have to admit, I go to the Outer Banks a lot. I have eaten at several places and most seem to cater to tourists and have little care if you come back again. But the Blue Point? It's solid. I think it is more for the locals, and tourists would be lucky to land here for a meal and... More

The service for our dinner tonight was excellent! Our glasses were never empty, and food was served with perfect timing. One of our party left for the restroom when dinner was served, and immediately, they covered her plate with a steel cover to keep it warm--very nice touch! I had the short ribs, and they were delicious! Just wish it... More

Great drinks, nice salads, and the pecan tart with burbon ice cream was a winner. Wish the signature dish oyster stew had a few more oysters and a little more seasoning. Scallop dish was also good. Casual warm inviting atmosphere.
