If you like BBQ then this is the place for you! Stopped here on a whim after watching the sunset across the street. I ordered the trio sampler. Three wings, three huge ribs, and pulled pork. AMAZING! Don't know the secret to their hush puppies, but they are wonderfully delicious. I didn't give 5 stars because the ribs were a... More

Went to Duck Deli for dinner with 5 kids of all ages. Casual atmosphere, great fresh food and cartoons on the TV! Kids meals were $5- adults $10-$20. Ones of the kids meals (8 piece nuggets) was a bit pricey at $9.00. The kids nuggets were the Dino shapes we get from Costco. All adult meals were delicious. By dinner... More

It's just like getting breakfast cooked at home by your mom (considering your mom can cook)! The waitresses are nice and the food is well priced. Family friendly atmosphere but parking is a bit difficult at times.

The Duck Deli is a tradition in the town of Duck, and well deserves its excellent reputation. It's taken me a while to really get to where I like it, but I am really sold on it. We've been there for lunch a couple of times in the last week, and not only is the food excellent, the service is,... More

Owner of our rental property recommended this place. Seemed liked there was always cars in the lot..... so we gave it a shot for breakfast. Service was very friendly, but food was nothing to rave over. Potatoes served with my omelet were hard as rocks and tasted stale. All of our breakfasts were served to us on styrofoam with plastic... Our first night in Duck, we arrived around 5 PM. We were tired & hungry, and we had not brought food for dinner with us from NJ. Right down the street, we had passed the Duck Deli. What a Godsend it was. We were greeted by friendly staff that took & filled our order quickly. We brought it back to... More

Wife and I had driven by this place a bunch but had never stopped in. The last night of vacation we went out and everywhere was packed and this place was not. Very casual and it looks like they do one heck of a business for take out and to go foods. Wife and I split a full rack of... More

We make the Duck Deli our first stop on every visit to OBX. It's been a family tradition to stop for either breakfast or lunch depending on our arrival time.....and TRAFFIC! Their service is fast and friendly and the food is always good. It's very small so seating is a premium and it's a great spot for takeout. Their BBQ... More

My husband I stopped in to get sandwiches for dinner because our first choice place stopped serving them at 5. We got the chicken sandwich and the BBQ sampler. I paid extra for the fries which were very crispy. The sandwich, however, was really boring. The BBQ sampler wasn't much of a hit either--ribs weren't any good, the potato salad... More
