Went there with a group. Food was beyond delicious! Highly recommend the tuna . Waiter was very nice. It doesn't look like much when you walk in- kind if dark and rustic - but give this place a chance you won't be sorry!

We went to this restaurant off season (not between Memorial Day and Labor Day) on a Saturday at 7 and we had a 40 minute wait, so we headed to the bar. Our group loved the roadside refreshers and tea and mojitos and they are strong (but on a subtle side). We noticed an outdoor seating area in the rear... More

As posted previously from the outside it didn't look like much. We were definitely impressed though with the experience. Upon our arrival we found the parking lot was tight but we were able to secure a parking spot. As we walked in we noticed the outside seating area and saw the interior was a little rustic but clean. We asked... More

From the outside, this looks like a dive bar. We were excited for the adventure as a local recommended eating here. Atmosphere was eclectic and fun! Loved all the glass art-Probably my favorite thing about our visit. Service was shotty. Our hostess pointed down the stairs to the table and said, " your table is ready."... Apparently that meant for... More

This place is a gem. Very unassuming and will easily exceed your expectations. They have a seasonal menu and great selections for both seafarers and land lovers. Unfortunately, I had to do take out, but the little I had was absolutely delicious. I did get to see the plates come out to other patrons, so I have an idea of... More

Actually we were looking for a restaurant with traditional Outer Banks cooking e.g. lots of corn fritters or hush puppies but we decided this one looked inviting and we were right. We sat outside as Australians are used to hot temperatures and when we finished everyone else had gone inside, which did look pretty good as an alternative. There is... More

I love Roadside!! As a home owner in Duck, and as a foodie who expects perfection in every meal, Roadside has never let me down. From their homemade chicken salad, with one of a kind raspberry vinaigrette dressing to their melt in your mouth scallop appetizer, and don't get me started on their pork chop and catch of the day,... My wife and I visit The Roadside at every opportunity when we are in Duck. It is rare that we ever miss lunch there. My favorite lunch is the big burger...by far the best burger anywhere. We have found their food consistently great, The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable, as well as courteous and attentive. We enjoy the cozy... More

Last night we enjoyed another fantastic evening at Roadside! It's our favorite restaurant anywhere since we can always depend on having great food, very friendly and professional service, and a fun time. Our party of four had the pimento cheese appetizer, Summer Salad, tuna sashimi, clams, and pasta, as well as wine, beer, and specialty drinks. Saturday night another group... More
