Every chance I get to be in Duck, NC, this is my favorite place to eat. They do a specialty salad that I've driven miles to eat. All of their food is delicious and they regularly have live music. Great atmosphere for eating outside and inside. Large back yard venue for bigger parties.

We decided to take the entire family out to dinner on the first night of our family vacation in duck. We saw this restaurant and thought it looked appropriate. When we entered, we were greeted by a very friendly young woman who seated us quickly. There was some interesting melted glass hanging on the walls and beneath the glass top... More

we love this restaurant, from the down home country feel, to the superb food. the shrimp and grits are legendary. problem was in august the waiter took our appetizer order, for party of five, and forgot it all. very disappointing to make such a mistake. we waited an hour, after asking several times where our food was, yet all that... Loved this place!!! The tuna steak dinner and the flower power martini was exceptional. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to OBX.

Worth visit for chowder. Fish specials are the way to go. Cool beach atmosphere. Patio dining is a nice candle light experience.

Whenever we're in Duck we stop by the Roadside for a crab cake. They truly are the best I've ever eaten - lots and lots of crab and very little filler. The atmosphere isn't great and eating outside is literally "road side", which is the only reason for not giving it the bet rating. Will always return each time we're... More

First-time, and probably the last time we will patronize this restaurant. Service not friendly...not only was the hostess rude, wait staff were curt. Restaurant was at 25% capacity at dinner-time. Impression is staff are just serving food, not people. What could have been a $175-200 tab for the restaurant, ended up being just $60. We opted to just have soup... More

We eat here every year we come. Never a bad experience. Food is excellent and the staff is friendly. My husband stopped after jet skiing this year and they have a nice outdoor section in the back for drinks. Looking forward to next year.

Upon arriving in Duck had a lovely lunch. My husband said " best martini ever". Second time around went for dinner. Hostess not very friendly. Placed our name on a wait list but neglected to say how long the wait was. No updates. 2nd hostess did ask if we wanted a drink while waiting. Ended up leaving after glancing at... More

From the outside this place looks like it should be a moderately priced burger joint, and the inside is somewhat drab and boring. The patio seating was nice and definitely the way to go. The food was a little over priced for the setting, but it was definitely tasty. We stumbled upon it because we were driving and it was... More
