WATCH YOUR BILL

After we used a gift card, we wanted to see how much we had left on it. To our surprise, even though our receipt stated we were charged $30.27, $37.67 was deducted from our card. When we returned to Roadside, we were refunded. Since there was no manager on duty, we asked that he/she call us. After... read more

I've been visiting Duck for three years. Started owing here with relatives who have come to the Outer Banks for years. Roadside is the first restaurant on our list to visit. I've found that I don't need an entree. I usually order two appetizers and have plenty to eat. The favorite of our group is their tomato pie. I wish... More

After an hour and thirty minutes we got our meal. Prices were high and ordered a pasta dish with seafood for $25. Got 4 small pieces of seafood. This is a tourist trap that knows you have to pay. Pass it up.

Loved this charming eccentric cottage restaurant. Outdoor metal art, stained glass, awesome service, sweet sweet people. Food was delicious and drinks were delicious as well! Best part was the surprise backyard bar. Set just a few yards back but totally cool vibe. Lots of colorful yard art, bar, live talented musicians. Owners and staff friendly and kind. Enjoyed several hours... More

The Roadside is one of our favorite go-to places to eat on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Eating at the bar gives you a first hand view of how kitchen's operate. Food is always great, particularly the Roadside Chicken salad and whatever the fish special happens to be for the day. Bring a check so they can avoid the... More

We have been vacationing in the OBX for years but never visited this place. We had a wonderful lunch here and highly recommend! I had a Caesar salad with grilled salmon and my husband had their turkey sandwich special. Both were excellent. Their peartinis were great! We will return!

My husband and I visit Roadside Bar & Grill at least 6 or 7 times a year. It is one of our favorite restaurants in the Outer Banks. We had clam chowder, steamed clams and a ribeye steak ....all cooked to perfection. Service was great and I love their house wine...Heavyweight!

Never thought I would write a review for a BLT, but this was one of the best. Crisp lettuce, just the right amount of bacon, tomato and mayo all on a super-fresh ciabatta roll. It was served with the best pasta salad. Fresh with just a light dressing and the right proportion of onions and peppers. We also got their... More

Just to clear up any confusion, we checked our records, and we only charged exactly $30.27. The credit card company temporarily put a hold of 20% more than the bill in case a gratuity was added. This was removed a day or two later after the transaction was processed. More
