My wife and I visited Baldie's and were pleasantly surprised with the quality, portion size and low cost of the food we ordered. She had a hamburger and I had fish and chips--both meals were excellent. The wait staff was efficient and pleasant. We would go back to eat there again. Most of the meals were under $6.00, a bargain... More

Very unfortunately, this Baldie's location is closed. There is still one on Kitty Hawk across from Wal-Mart.

These were amazing burgers - juicy and cooked just right. Ate them on the picnic table right outside because they can get messy. What a great place to stop with the family or friends. We have done them both. The price is right.

The food was horrible. Burger was cold, fries terribly greasy. Had to ask for our drinks. Cook was using profanity. Way over priced!!!

My family vacation this year was on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, a beautiful week in March with warm temperatures and uncrowded attractions. The problem we ran into with the pre-season visit, though, was a lack of open ice cream parlors, a must have for vacation! Finally one day on a drive to explore the Northern Beaches, we came... More

We decided to get ice cream after dinner and what a disaster. I got 2 soft serve twist ice cream with rainbow sprinkles and it nearly took 10 minutes to get it. YES....10 minutes. This place was operated by a bunch of high school kids with no customer service skills. Once we got our ice cream, we sat at the... More

Stopped by for some burgers and fries for lunch during our week in the OBX. They were great! We thought they were comparable in flavor to 5 guys but at a far better price. Service was friendly after a short wait. This is a walk up stand with out door seating only. The picnic tables were all out in the... More

Five of us arrived at Baldies at 4:40pm on Saturday, 5/12, to be told that they had JUST turned off the grill but we could still get ice cream.....we also were not the only people who had arrived for hot food. While I understand businesses having quitting times and I know what I am like at the end of the... More

While I'm a seafood lover, my boyfriend is not so enthusiastic, so he was reliieved when we found Baldie's! We got grilled onions & mushrooms at no extra charge, the burger was cooked hot & juicy, with cheese fries which were the greatest. My mint chocolate shake was delicious and NOT green, which made it taste even better! There's a... More
