Grouper Sandwich

One of the few places open on the day we arrived in Duck as the season was over. However there was a good number of local eating there and collecting their take outs. There was no restriction on the content of the menu and I asked for the catch of the day as a sandwich - this meant the fish... read more

Stopped in for lunch on New Years Eve. Wife and I ordered a oyster po' boy. Ok but we may be thinking too much about the ones we ate in New Orleans.

Salads: 3 hairs found in one of the house salads. Told waitress and she said they are pre made and put into fridge until someone orders them. She said it wasn't her hair that her hair is pulled back. I told her that it was blonde hair and hers is brown. Tomatoes in salad were not fresh, they were squishy... More

Very friendly staff, good food and decent priced! Recommended to us by a local. They did not disappoint! Seems to cater well to families as well as couples! The kids drink is pricey!

Not much was open in December so we ate here for the advertised breakfast. Food was just so so and tasted a little greasy for the eggs. Breakfast burrito would have tasted better with crumbled sausage rather than a cut up link . Salsa didn't come with it but staff was nice enough to oblige request. Ok considering not much... More

This is a great little bar with a small dining room. We got the crab dip which was fantastic. We are from Maryland so we know when someone's trying to pass off over breading for crab, and this didn't happen here. It was a delicious well seasoned crab dip with the best homemade pita chips you have ever had. The... More

We went in on a Sunday at lunch. Our food came out cold the first go around, so we sent it back. I changed from a crab cake sandwich to a hamburger because the crab tasted scorched and was not good at all (more filler than crab). The second go around was better, but not great. I think our server... More

My husband and I ate outside on the deck for dinner one evening. The food was very good, and reasonably priced. however there were spiders EVERYWHERE. I get why they didn't get rid of them all, because there was a bit of a bug problem, but they placed the tables and chairs thisclose to the massive spiders and their webs.

This would be a place I like more than my wife but even she was surprised by our last visit. We both had the special "grilled Wahoo" which was very good. I always go for their Conch Chowder, it's the only place I know of in North Carolina who served this chowder. Don't find it until you get down in... More

We stopped in for lunch after a very long drive to the Outer Banks from Pittsburgh, PA. We were hungry! The wait for our food seemed long. There were not very many people there, as it was off season. After receiving our food, I realized that I forgot to order a side of ranch dressing for my fries. I asked... More
