The pizza here is ok but definitely not worth the wait. We waited over 90 minutes for three pizzas. A huge rain storm came while we were sitting at the tables outside. We went in to get out of the rain and the waitresses cleared all of our drinks. We had to go back in and talk with the staff... More

We discovered this place later in the week after ordering not so great pizza from elsewhere. Dine in and enjoy a view of the sound or order out. Pizza took an hour so call early if you want take out during dinner time.

Having been to the Outer Banks numerous times over the past years, I was always surprised at how poor the pizza quality is on the north end of the island. My family and I have tried several but all were pretty poor, until our last visit when we hit the Wave Pizza cafe while out in Duck. Good sauce--not sweet,... More

Been coming to Duck for years and just ran across this pizza restaurant, great pizza, view of the bay and can order a beer or wine. I agree that you have to get here by 5:30

I read a few of the reviews before going to the Outer Banks. The pizza was very good. We also bought the cheesy bread which was good also. I thought the price was better than average for a shore point. I would go back again if I return to Duck. Only down side is expect to wait for your pizza.... More

Best pizza in the area. Even the salads are gourmet with not just lettuce but other greens like arugula and also red onions. The pizza is not greasy, easy to digest which means they use good quality cheese. Go for the fresh tomatoes, ham, and black olives. The best time to go is by 5:30pm the latest, otherwise it gets packed.... More

After terrible orders from other pizza places in Duck (not mentioning names), we decided one day to order from Wave Pizza. They start deliveries late at 4pm, as do the other pizza places. Wish they would deliver earlier. But that being said... We were pleasantly surprised with our order. The pizza didn't have that classic cardboard taste - it was... More

Crispy crust and very tasty. Also the view is amazing and pet friendly! Ate there twice while on vacation.

After walking in the rain (avoiding horrible traffic) to find lunch, we ordered a basic 16" pepperoni pizza. As previous reviewer stated, the tipping process was quite strange. Once you place your order, they swing an Ipad around for you to select a tip amount and sign for your credit card. Seeing it was definitely a self service restaurant with... More

I had a carry out order, but the short time I was in the staff was friendly and courteous. The pizza was great. This is a small shop and the wait can be long if they get busy, however, it was worth the wait.
