Really nice atmosphere, really good servive, very good food!

Taking a few days off from work at the end of the year, went to North Carolina and visited the Flatiron restaurant for a late lunch. Being December 30th at 15:00hs the place was deserted and we had the best service you can ask for, Jason the Gral. Manager even visited our table; the food was good, in fact the... More

We were a group of four and didn't make reservations. They told us it would be an hour wait or we could have the small table near the door. We saw many empty tables but were told they were all for reservations. We agreed to the table near the door so that we didn't have to wait an hour. It... More

After church we decided to use our Christmas gift card at the Flatiron and went to brunch. I had the Steak Benedict with Hollandaise Sauce on an English Muffin. The Grits (side) were a bit lumpy, but edible. My Benedict was terrific. My husband had a Ham Sandwich and it also was quite good. Wonderful treat in the early afternoon... More

We stopped here prior to a college basketball game and again after the game hoping to find some other fans, but both times, had no luck. This is a great bar and the food that came out of the open kitchen looked delicious and seemed reasonably priced. It's a beautifully decorated building with artwork for sale on the walls and... My husband and I had tried the Flatiron for dinner a couple of years ago. We hadn't been back since because we found the place so loud with terrible acoustics. Decided to give it another try yesterday to book a group of my girlfriends for lunch. After waiting for 45 minutes for our orders to arrive, most of the food... More

My wife and I stopped in to Flatiron for dinner. We have been here on a couple of occasions. My daughter was on a visit to Davidson College. I had the hamburger which was very good. They also had a good selection of Micro Beers on Tap. They have a good, bar atmosphere. The staff was friendly. I'm sure when... More

I had the Wagu burger and it was fantastic. Unfortunately the rest of my family ordered the rib eye special which was recommended by our waiter and it was at best fair. It is definitely high priced for the quality of the food. Service was also slow, and we got in before the rush. Location is great for Christmas in... More
