Good food, quiet, neighborhood gem; AND they were open when most restaurants were still closed for the winter season!

Peter, Wild Horse Adventure Tours, shared this was his favorite seafood restaurant in Corolla. Three of the four groups were there for dinner at 5 PM! Great food, top notch service! We would do it again!

This was our first time in the Outer Banks. Being as we rented a house for the week we only went out to meals a couple of times. We are so glad we choose North Banks. I had the do it yourself fish tacos. They were very good. There was plenty of food and the price was right. My wife... More

We had the best seafood of our entire trip to the Outer Banks. EVerything was perfect - crabcakes allmost all crab - i suppose there was some filler to hold it together but non-discernible. My husband, who frequently eats the same thing everywhere, said the fish and chips were outstanding. I also had the caesar salad which was wonderful -... More

Always have a good meal at North Banks. I prefer lunch to dinner, but usually cause the wait isn't as bad in the afternoon. Can't really go wrong on their menu. Service is great. Owner is very nice.

We've been going to OBX for almost 20 years now and this has always been a favorite and consistent top performer. From pre-kids to four kids, we feel like we've known the staff for a long time. Always a hard decision to make off of the menu, but haven't had a bad choice. Place gets packed in the summer (it... More

This is a very small restaurant so you'd best make a reservation as seating is limited and there was a long line waiting for tables. Once inside, it can be a bit noisy but each of our party of four had an excellent meal. Service was a bit slow, but not a major drawback as we were not in a... More

Great crab legs, great spiced shrimp. Only complaint is too many tvs. Yummy. Casual. Good quality seafood. Nice servers. One of the only places open during our visit in November.

We stay in the Outer Banks approx. 5 weeks a year and have been doing this for about 10 years. We make it a point to visit this restaurant at least once each time. The food is fantastic, whether it is seafood or steaks. My personal favorite is the fillet mignon, which has always been cooked to perfection. The seafood is... More

We were really upset that the better-rated restaurants in the area were closed for the season when we visited the Outer Banks. Still, this spot had garnered enough good reviews for us to try. We tried the shrimp/jalepeno/pimento cheese fritters. They tasted okay, but were lacking enough shrimp. My wife had the shrimp penne pasta with tomato and cheese. Very... More
