Another great recommendation from the guys at the Hampton

When we checked into the Hampton on Saturday, we asked for recommendations for place to eat. This was one of the top two. We went to The Point on Saturday but after the Wild Horse Adventure Tour on Sunday, came to this one. Walked in and were promptly seated. My wife and the server encourage me... read more

Wasn't our planned choice for dinner, but after a long day of vacationing and because we happened to be at Timbuck II for shopping, we decided to stop here. It was a little early for dinner (about 4:30), so that may have some effect on my review. They sat us down right away and the server was great (can't remember... More

This is my go to restaurant to take clients to. Their crab cakes are the best I have had. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. Great wraps as well as fish bites!

When you combine great food and a staff -- from owners to bartenders to waitstaff -- who are professional and fun, you set the stage for a happy memories. This time of the year, the Corolla community is slowed down from the hustle of the summer. But North Bank continues to pack in locals and visitors alike. We will do... More

This is one of our favorite spots when we are in Corolla. It is a small, seafood, bar establishment in Tim Buck II. My husband (not a seafood person) ordered a pulled pork flat bread, and I dined on fish tacos. Both lunches were excellent. The staff is always friendly and attentive. We always visit for lunch, as lunch is... More

We used to travel down to Duct for seafood and t was overpriced and too far. North Banks is consistently good and always give great portions. We always start with the crab grenades and this time also had the steamed clams. For dinner, we never vary. My husbands gets the tuna steak (medium) and I get the steamer plate of... More

Great Shrimp Wrap and Chicken sandwich! however some of the worst Broccoli soup ever! We usually love this place. Told waiter about soup with no reaction. Will try spot again but avoid soup!

Came down Thanksgiving week....we switch off between Salvo and Corolla every year. The drive into Nags Head is no fun, so we decided to stick around here..We tried a couple places because the wait was too long at North Banks.....we shoukd have waited seeing the other places we just walked right into with very few people. Food and service at... More

We stopped by at an "in-between" hour after lunch was closed but before dinner. So we sat at the bar for bar food. Generous bowls of clam chowder and steamed shrimp and corn bread. What else do you need. Great beer selection - Didn't even notice any draft light beers, all were great choices. Good enough we had to stop... More
