We stood at the bar until a table opened up for lunch. The bartender was prompt and accommodating and moved with us to the table. We shared a shrimp appetizer that was fresh and tasty and not too spicy. My wife loved the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake. They were out of the game fish for the taco; so I had... More

North Banks is hidden in the back of Tim Buck II shopping center. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff were great! We had wonderful service and the food was great. I recommend the steam spiced shrimp and the cold beer. My husband had the panko crusted shrimp that were wonderful too. Everything was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be... More

I'm always visiting the area in the winter and never miss an opportunity to visit my favorite store Mustang Sally's. I primarily stay in the Nags head area but always make a stop in Corrolla. This restaurant is a must stop for me and my husband. The food is excellect.

We were referred to this restaurant by someone at Currituck Golf Club. He was so right! It was excellent! We all had seafood except for our kids who had pasta. The seafood platter was amazing! Flavorful and the portions were huge! Our 13 year old ordered an adult portion of pasta and had a ton left over. Seating wasn't a... More

North Banks has been a fave for years -- probably 15-20 visits annually since we have a second home nearby. Always find a warm welcome and some great specials. Never a bad meal -- but some offerings have prompted us to usually go with them. The Grenades appetizer is one of the best starters anywhere. Great flavors, well presented. The... More

We were thrilled to find a seafood & raw bar open Thanksgiving Week. The oysters were great as well as shrimp, crab cakes, etc. the server provided clear direction to each of based on our preferences. We would definitely come back on our next visit!

Go for the steamed seafood Go again to be recognized by the locals Authentic and reliable just don't show up with a large party and expect immediate seating you might get it but it isn't a large place so you might have to sit at the bar or come back in a few minutes after doing some shopping Cheers to... My husband and I went here for our last night on our honeymoon. We wanted to go somewhere rather nice - he looked up the menu online and it appeared to be just what we wanted. We dressed up and went to dinner! Although the prices were "fancy restaurant" prices, the restaurant itself was not fancy. We sat super close... More
