We have been going to Corolla village bbq for many years. Our son used to work there years ago.The people are really friendly. The pulled pork sandwiches are to die for.Even though we went right at lunch,we were served our food very quickly. It is a really small place but the line moves quickly. Both the pork and chicken are so good.

To be honest, I haven't had anything here but the pulled pork, and slaw, but based on that it is without a doubt the best Carolina style pulled pork I have ever eaten. True Dixie tasting BBQ. Note: this place has no set hours, and closes when they run out of food!

I couldn't have been more pleased with the pulled pork as it was the best pulled pork I had ever eaten. The lima beans in the baked beans were not a welcome addition, but was easily overlooked because of the pulled pork. I would have eaten here again, but this was the last day they were open before closing for... More

I was in the village with my wife and son to see a horse just brought in and we decided to have lunch here. I was excited because of the reviews and was really looking forward to some good ribs. Unfortunately, ribs weren't ready yet. I was disappointed, but I moved on and decided to try the chicken. Quite honestly,... More

Definitely wanted to try some Carolina BBQ while at the Outer Banks. We were at the lighthouse did a quick search and this restaurant was highly recommended. We soon saw why! I had the chicken which had a delicious dry rub and my friend had the pulled pork dinner on which she tried 3 different sauces- the best of which... More

I do like Carolina-style BBQ, but am not crazy about it...still prefer Texas brisket...but this was really good. We ordered take-out from them twice. Had the cornbread, potato salad, beans, etc...all good eating.

Got takeout for dinner on our last night at OBX. Shared among the adults and kids were pulled pork platters with pasta salad, candied yams, cornbread and a half rack of ribs. The kids loved the pork and ribs although they did not like the bbq sauce (this one was vinegar-based and they prefer the tomato-based kind). The adults thought... More

Some of the best BBQ in OBX. This small BBQ stand offers great takeout. It is off the beaten path in old Corolla Village, near the lighthouse.Recommend you try it once.

Had the pulled pork. Was amazing and loved the quaint outdoor setting. Only problem was all the flies which they couldn't help but affected our meal. The cornbread was heavenly though.

Still making the most delicious Eastern North Carolina pork BBQ. The beans are a very tasty side dish. My only complaint is that they do not open up early enough. I wanted BBQ at 10:30am. :) If only that smell could be bottled and brought home. :)
