The hours vary and you have to really plan your day to grab some grub at the Corolla Village Barbecue. But, it is worth it! Great BBQ, friendly service and everyone back the beach house loved it! There are just picnic tables to sit at if you want to stay and eat there. But, one bite and you'll be back!... More

Excellent authentic NC barbecue and sides. Great place to stop and eat when taking a break visiting historic Corolla village.

I stopped here for takeout dinner during the September off seasons. There was nobody else there and service was very good. The pulled pork sandwiches are great! The ribs were OK. The cole slaw, mac salad, baked beans, and candied sweet potatoes were all very good as well. I will definitely return on future trips to Corolla.

NC BBQ was good, not great but I'm biased because my husband (from NC) cooks a mean pig! Service was friendly and it was nice to sit outside in the shade in the "historic village". Some chickens came by to search for leftovers, which our son loved. Good experience.

On our trip to the outer banks we have eaten our fair share of BBQ!! this place had the BEST baked beans, the BEST smoked ribs and Chicken. I went for a light lunch and walked away after eating a rack of ribs, some pulled pork, smoked chicken and beans! my girls even enjoyed and asked for more ribs. It... More

A hole in the wall that is home base to all the flies in NC. We love BBQ and were so excited to go here for dinner after reading all the rave reviews here. Total disappointment. The pulled pork should be renamed pulled sandpaper - it was THAT dry. I had to pour the entire bottle of sauce onto it... More

I regularly work in Corolla so I have had an opportunity to eat here many times. It is everything I would expect from a barbecue joint. Chopped pork with a vinegar & pepper sauce. The chopped pork is so good I have not gotten around to trying any of the other menu items, but there is no way it could... More

Have had this now for a couple of times and it is right near one of my offices in Corolla. Have to say that now after the third time of experiencing their food and hoping for better, it did not happen for me. The cole slaw is bland and the barbeque is not smoked ( had to doctor both up... More

After many years of truly mediocre BBQ in OBX we hit gold. Corolla Village BBQ is the real deal and if you LOVE Eastern NC-style BBQ you will hit paydirt here. The ribs are superb and the pulled pork exactly what it should be. The meat is well cooked, unctuous and flavorful. The sauces work perfectly with the richness of... More
