Random dinner

My husband and I went for a random dinner. We were there in the off season, so it wasn't busy. The food was delicious. We each went in for something different but when our waitress suggested the special of the day, chimichungas, we couldn't resist. And I'm glad we didn't. They were delicious! We... read more

This is an amazing little place. We took the suggestion of the waitress and ordered the nachos. A-mazing! The owner was working and we had a great conversation. It is great to dine in a family-owned business and to get to know the folks. If you are in the area, be sure to give Corolla Cantina a try. You won't... More

There really isn't anything special about this place. We sat inside because it looked like it may rain the table we sat at was not the cleanest. I guess the girl waiting the outside tables was doing the inside also so we did have to wait for service. We both ordered beers and it came in cans and my lady... More

We are sorry you sat at a dirty table. When it started to rain you were sitting outside. So when everyone scrambled to get inside, yes you may have sat "yourself" at a table that wasn't ready yet. It happens. Aren't you glad you didn't get wet??? More

This is a popular restaurant with reasonably priced food. Good fish sandwich and generous supply of chips/salsa or beans and rice. Beer prices are high but that seems to be the norm for this concentrated tourist area.

We went to eat with a group of 8. 6 adults and 2 kids. They don't have much of a kids menu or a menu at all. It was very overpriced. They added a 20% gratuity to our bill! The food was just ok and too expensive.

Stopped in for lunch, service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the blackened mahi tacos, they were good, but expected a little more spicy flavor. Food was good, but not good enough for me to return. I've never been to a mexican restaurant who didn't bring chips and salsa to the table.

We ordered the loaded nachos (with queso) as an appetizer...so good. I ordered the fish and chips and it was perfect. The fish was perfectly fried/not wet inside the batter. I ordered a jack and coke and it was huge! (for a decent price of $7). We got to sit outside which was nice...so happy we ate here.

Husband and I stopped in for a late lunch. Was not disappointed. They bring you chips and salsa (homemade) right off the bat. Staff very friendly. Owner stopped and asked us several times how our food was. I had the mahi mahi fish tacos and hubby had the duck tacos. Neither of us had a bad thing to say about... More

I ordered the blackened mahi tacos (2 to an order) and the jerk chicken quesadilla and both were lacking any spicy flavor. For the tacos, given the name "blackened" I would have expected a spicy blackened rub, instead the fish tasted as though it is grilled with no spice. On the plus side, the fish was nicely grilled. Tacos came... More

Nobody could make up their mind what they wanted so I called around and this place about a mile from our house could take us. Food was upscale Mexican with good seafood selections. It wasn't top shelf, but pretty good for the little viliage of Corolla Light.
