When my husband and I couldn't get into the seafood restaurant nearby we found this charming restaurant and were so glad we did! Started with an Italian Onion Soup that still has my mouth watering. We were served a lovely bread with a pesto olive oil dip that we greatly enjoyed. I had a pasta special with kale and shrimp... More

Food was good, overpriced for what you got; drinks were delish; the wait to be seated was a bit too long, desserts were yummy; waitress was curt and seemed annoyed at the patrons in general.

We love coming to this friendly Italian restaurant in Corolla, NC. We have been eating at this restaurant for the past 4 years. We usually eat 3 to 4 dinners here. Excellent food, great service and always great desserts. You will not go wrong eating here during your Outer Banks vacation.

We tried La Dolce Vita for the very first time on the last day of our one week vacation in OBX. This restaurant offers some good Italian food, mostly pasta and specialty pizzas. Everyone in our party was satisfied with the food. All of us ordered pasta. I think it is a little over-priced for pasta. I must say the... More

A great place that accommodated a large group (6 adults, 7 children) late on a Saturday evening with no reservations. Pleasant staff, nice menu selection, and *huge* portions of food brought to the table quickly and piping hot. The portions were easily large enough, to take home for a full lunch the next day! The only "complaint" would be that... More

Great service - they do not accept reservations but you can call ahead 30 minutes or so for reserved seating. I highly recommend call ahead as the wait times were 60 minutes when we arrived. They called us back when our table and we were promptly seated. The waitress was very pleasant, attentive and food served promptly. The prices are... More

Went here for a date night while vacationing in Corolla. The homemade bread was delicious. I got the Chicken Parmesan and although it was fresh, it was bland. The only resounding spice in the entire dish was garlic, garlic, garlic. I'm a huge garlic fan, but wow it was so overpowering. My boyfriend got spaghetti and meatballs and the meatballs... More

My husband called this resturant in the afternoon of the day we intended to go to make reservations. He was told to call a half hour in advance if coming. He at 7:00 pm to make a reservation and spoke with a man named Brian. First we were out on hold for about 15 minutes. Then he finally made the... More

We visited this restaurant while vacationing in Corolla. The restaurant is small and there was a thirty minute wait. We ordered drinks from the bar and almost to the thirty minute wait Brian seated us. Our party totaled seven with three children. Our waitress was pleasant and very efficient and the food was excellent especially the veal and fresh seafood.... More

Service was fantastic. Restaurant was very accommodating to our party of 10. They even took a reservation at 5:30 for 6:00 diner. The food was average Italian and pricy. I got chicken gnocchi which was priced at $23.00. Overall a good place to eat.
