Big Al's is Closed

The restraint is closed until they finish construction of the new shopping plaza and Publix. They say it should reopen in the fall.

Big Al went on a "diet" as the new name is Al's Bar and Grill but they are open again and live music on the weekends!

This is THE place for wings but.... there is so much more on the menu. I go here several times a week. It is locally owned and priced right with many beer and food specials offered all through the week. Come hang out inside or outside on the patio. Usually a good band plays on the weekends. And... if you... More

Visited Big Al's with my parents and children and everyone walked away happy with their meal - not an easy thing to do! Location is more of sports bar feel, though family friendly at the same time. Very relaxed and casual. Lots of t.v.'s to entertain the adults and a few games for the kids. Menu was more expensive than... More

We eat at Big Al's because we got lost trying to find a good pizza place. They had very good pizza and a waitress that reflected the down home charm. The service was reasonable fast and the cost was acceptable for what we ordered. It was very busy and it had many TV screens all over the restaurant.

Food is generally amazing for a pub. I stop by Big Al's every time I travel through Cornelius. Staff is always friendly and remember your name after the first visit. A local hangout much like Cheers .

It is hard to find good wings, but there were very good. Good sauces and the fries are good too. The service is ok, but food makes up for that.

This is a great spot to eat some delicious food from Buffalo, NY. We moved here about 8 years ago& we come here all the time. It's a bar atmosphere, waitresses can be slow , but the food makes it all worth it! Must go!
