Overpriced and like New York for pizza, the word Chicago is abused here. Non authentic and boring. Save your money.

I was going to work in Cornelius and stopped by Matt's to buy lunch to go. The service was quick and the wait was not very long. They put my hot dog in a bag and packed extra napkins. I also got a diet coke.

Great selection of hot dogs. The Chicago Dog is spot on. I've also tried the Chicago Deep Dish pizza here and it is fantastic. They also have some nice beers to compliment the food.

Wife is in Pittsburgh with Grandkids and it's been while since I've been here so I decided to give them a try for dinner. They have been remodeling the place so it's not been on my radar for awhile. The remodel in nice. They have moved into some of the space next door and put in a bar and opened... More

High priced and non authentic. I sense that microwaves are used heavily here and the dogs are unremarkable. The Italian beef was just sad. I'm done here.

If you don't count calories-- pretty genuine Chicago style Italian beef sandwiches and dogs. Fresh bread (I don't think it's Gonella, which was the Chicago staple) beef, peppers and delicious (greasy) sauce-- just the way it's supposed to be. They've upgraded the seating, and the food has been consistent.

The hot dogs are wonderful. I grew up in Chicago and there's definitely good competition here. Their homemade chips are also wonderful. Just started serving beer recently which is a nice touch. Very family-friendly.

I'm a polish sausage lover. These folks do a great job. I also enjoy their homemade chips. Unfortunately, (well maybe not for my waistline), I can't get by here more often.

Just returned from a trip to Cornelius and had an opportunity to dine at Matt's Chicago Dog. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. They answered all of our questions and even let one of us try a sample of beer before ordering. We ordered a Large Chicago Style pizza for four adults, an Italian Beef Sandwich, and Chicago's...
