Always welcomed.Exellent meals at very reasonable prices. It always the first place we go when we visit our famIly in Davidson NC
Great little spot with a varied menu & nice sangria. Appears to be family-run and service is attentive and quick. Not long on atmosphere, but definitely worth a stop when you want some Central/South American food. There's limited seating so call ahead for a reservation!
After a long church meeting we decided to go to El Parasio for dinner. It is Salvadorian and has interesting choices on the menu. I chose the sampler plate which gave me several items to sample. I brought half of them home as left overs. My favorite (so far) was the pupuso-sort of like a tamale-but a bit different. Next... More
Been eating here for years and always very solid choice. Moved away about a year ago and when back in Cornelius/LKN area it's on the "must eat at" list for sure. Great food..very fair prices and family run restaurant. Recommended it to several friends and they all thank me.
This is a family owned and run restaurant located in a strip mall in Cornelius. You have to look to find it. The food is excellent and very, very tasty. It is a bit like Mexican food, but somewhat different. I felt transported back to a vacation we took to the Yucatan by the decor. Excellent food and service.
My husband and I go here at least once a month and we are never disappointed! The friendly owners, Elizabeth and her dad - we call him Papa - are genuinely glad to see you and personally greet us each time as if it were our first. Let's start with the salsa - perfect! Goes really well with the homemade... More
Good variety and some nice creations for those who like Mexican cuisine. The dining room is quaint, the staff very friendly, and the food is really good. I had never noticed it in all of the times I have driven by. Definitely worth the trip.
El Paraiso is not much to look at, although its location is convenient and the decor is typical Tex-Mex. But the food is a cut above. The typical tacos, burritos, quesadillas, etc. are all well-prepared and tasty. But the Salvadorian soups and specialties push this restaurant beyond expectations. Try the El Tipico appetizer, or any of the soups offered at... More
Keep getting drawn back to this little restaurant for the very basic reason of excellent Latin (Salvadorian and Mexican) food. The atmosphere is comfortable, the music authentic, the service is charming and the food is plentiful and delicious. Fresh chips and salsa, great cerveza, reasonable wine selection........ (beer and wine only - excelente!) Just ate dinner there. I had the... More
We went to this restaurant while visiting our son. It does not look great from the outside (in a strip mall), nor is it exceptionally furnished on the inside. However the food is very good. Our server was attentive and knowledgable. He could tell us which meals and sauces were gluten-free without having to visit the kitchen (which made ordering... More
