Been here a couple times and to the South Blvd location a couple times as well. Last time I had the ribs. Meaty and not extra-greasy-fall-off-the-bone stuff. Which was exactly what I wanted, you may not be so inclined. Service is *awesome*! They have BBQ sauce at the tables so you can use the one(s) you want. Beer is reasonably... More

While traveling back to Canada from Florida we stayed in Cornelius NC. Went to Mac's and we were happy we did. Food was very good chili, rings, wings, ribs, pulled turkey, we sampled the menu pretty well. Staff was happy and helpful and the beer list is phenomenal. Great place for food, fun and drinks.

My family and I frequent Mac's Speed shop, it is within biking distance of our house. Food has ALWAYS been excellent. However, I am not sure whether the cook is hungover on Sunday or they have a second cook that just SUCKS that works the Sunday Lunch shift. However, we have eaten there on 3 different Sundays and the food... More

We had Smoked Chicken Nachos and a burger. The burger was massive and tasted awesome; the chicken nacho's were just ok. If it had more cheese on them it would have made them better. The nacho's were a little dry but tasted good. They use white cheese on the nachos instead of yellow. It was pretty loud inside; but we're... More

Many in our party ordered the "four choice" platter. I split one with another person and we had plenty with the four meet choices, two sides, plus toast. The brisket was a small portion, but tasty, while the pulled pork was ordinary. A lot of beer choices available.

We stopped in for a quick bite before heading home. It was a Sunday with football fans enjoying the game. Families were eating and were very comfortable. The food was good, and I would be comfortable bringing my children here.

Friendly service of good BBQ delivered to your table fast. Cold beer and a pretty good selection. Our group like to meet for an after work drink and bite.

Incredibly boring. The BBQ here is sad. Brisket was like rubber and the other meats seemed pre cooked. Seems like it might be fun to drink all day here. I have no reason to return to eat again.

This relatively new addition to the NC scene (first restaurant in 2005) is definitely of the barbecue emporium mold, offering a variety of smoked meats, and in copious amounts. There are now 5 locations, with the recent openings in Greenville and Fayetteville. This is a sports bar, upscale biker bar, good friends and family all around kind of place - large... More
