Our family loves Cracker Barrel. All the kids beg to go back again and again. The food is great, our end bill (even with 4 kids) never ends up over $40, and the service is usually really great. Occasionally we come across a waitress with no patience, but the food is still good!

Chose this one early Sat. AM due to the reputation they had. I ordered eggs, bacon, grits, biscuits with some sort of special gravy, and coffee. The coffee was pretty good. That's where it stopped. The eggs were cool. The grits were tasteless (no salt during cooking?). The special gravy was just flour and water with some sort of dark... More

You can always depend on the Cracker Barrel having the same high quality food (tasty, home cooking) at all locations. I was not disappointed here.

Cracker Barrel Old Country store is one of the only American chains that doesn't try to pretend they are European or eastern, they serve excellent food in excellent size portions, biscuits until the flow from your ears and instant top ups on your soft drinks FOC. (As do all American restaurants and they also one for the road now) The... More

My family and I visit this Cracker Barrel early and often. My favorite is the Grandpa country fried breakfast with Chicken fried Chicken with hashbrown casserole and no gravy on the chicken. It comes with side of grits and abundant biscuits. We order multiple of this meal because it is our favorite and wife mostly order Momma's pancake and some... More

I was seated by a hostess that didn't want to be at work that morning. Immediately after being seated, my back felt like it was against an open freezer door. After waiting about five minutes I was served a cup of coffee. After ten minutes I was given my silverware to stir my now cold coffee. I asked the hostess... More

Great service, quality, and very clean. This chain is nice because it does a great job of consistently keeping quality and service high on the list. It's almost as good as eating at home
