The food is excellent, I is Lexington Style BBQ and not bad for not being in the Lexington area. Yes they do have the NC red slaw. The chopped Q is great as well as the chicken, I have been here several times and never had a bad meal. The staff is great always friendly and do their best to... More

Anytime we have a BBQ craving, we go to R&R. It's the best in the Concord area. Not a huge fan of the sauce (I'm more a spicy vinegar guy), but it'll do. Sides are good and service is always friendly and quick. They do a nice job with breakfast as well, especially the country ham and livermush.

The closest BBQ restaurant to my home and office is a larger joint in Concord just off of I-85 and Poplar Tent Road. R&R BBQ has a good business and on any weekday or weekend you'll see a good crowd there for lunch. I hadn't been to R&R in several years but since it had been awhile I decided that... More

Our group of twelve stopped in here for lunch. Glad we did! Some ate BBQ, some had ribs, and several in the group just had to try the fried corn. The seasoned fish batter on it really added to the flavor. The BBQ slaw was tasty, too. I don't think I heard a negative from anyone. Super service! Hope we... More

The menu talks about juicy smoky flavor and about the places history...what we got was very dry meat and total lack of seasoning. No taste of spices, smoke or NC Vinager sauce... Really tastless and even adding the bottled sauces did not help! I really like eastern NC BBQ, and this is not it, so many places do it so... More

This is a barbeque place but they also offer the best banana pudding! Don't get me wrong, I like their barbeque and its fantastic sauce but I keep on coming back for the banana pudding :D ☺️

As a native of Concord my wife of 17 years took me to R&R years ago for the first time and since we enjoy a meal there often. We love to watch the trains overhead and the seat yourself service.

I recently visited Concord for work & had to drop by R & R because I love the sweet BBQ sauce! The barbecue pork was very good! I am very picky about stew so I didn't enjoy the stew very much. I ordered take out & the food was ready when I arrived. The staff was friendly! I just wish... More
