Brisket and the turkey was dry and chewy. French fries weren't cooked enough to my liking (I really like crispy fries - these were almost soggy). Baked sweet potato was really good. I wish other than garlic bread or cornbread was offered. Sonny's in Florida was much better.

I hadn't eaten in a Sonny's in probably 15 years. Used to have them here in NC then they all closed. I would get to eat there when I went to FLA on business. I was pleasantly surprised to see it when we rolled in to Concord. We ate there mid afternoon following a day at Great Wolf Lodge. Obviously... More

Have eaten Sonny's many times and have done work for and met the founder/owner Sonny Tillman at his first restaurant in Gainesvile, FL. This location was just like I remember of the many locations I had the opportunity to visit in FL. The service was great, the food was super. If you are visiting with 3 or more people I... More

We visited with other family for lunch. The food came out hot,the portions were large and the wait staff was awesome. Sill one of my favorite places to eat after many years. Very fast service. This one was a little better than most of the other ones we have been too.

First time here....wow! Everything was great! Had several meats...pulled pork, ribs, smoked chicken, and beef brisket. My fav? All 4! Definitely a must if you like good ole homecooked country food! Service was great also.

We had the ribs. We have had them before, and they are cooked to perfection, with sufficient smoky taste and mild sauce (more sauces available on the table). The tea is great, and the staff most helpful. Right on the road to the Lowe's Speedway, and across from a Bass Pro Shop.

Ive been going to Sonny's for almost all of my life. This restaurant is my blood. I've stopped at any Sonny's I could along the routes I take when traveling. This stop was especially important as I was meeting my sister and her two sons, as well as my dad. We had a family death and to make a long... More

I grew up on Sonny's BBQ, but moved away 20 years ago. Whenever I get a chance, I stop to eat my favorite BBQ in the world. This time was lunch with my boys as we were driving to Atlanta. Savory Pork sliced thin. BBQ Baked Beans. Cole Slaw. It simply doesn't get any better.
