Disappointing.

I've visited the Wagner House with my wife and friends on two occasions. The first was part of a "Dinner and a Show" program before a play and the second was for Sunday brunch. Both times I found the buffet offering, in terms of selection and taste to be far below what I was expecting. On our... read more

I cannot believe this place charges 15.95 for what they offer. The food was sparse and terrible. The bacon was salty. The lasagna was BURNT to the point of being black. There were no bread options. Fresh fruit consisted of a small display of strawberries and pineapple. The salad choice was a bowl of lettuce with a few sliced cucumbers.... More

Our dinner club branched out and decided to try brunch today at the Wagner House. The buffet minimal items. There was no major protein except overlooked salty bacon. There was a burnt lasagna and broccoli quiche that was less than appealing. When I told the waitress about the burnt food, she just responded "ok". For the price, I expected more... More

Overall, the food was good. The mimosa was cool and delicious. We had to wait for the kitchen to bring more parmesan chicken, but it was worth the wait. Buffet presentations are hard to maintain. Some of the breakfast bar was beginning to wilt. The wait staff was quick to bring more beverages and remove used plates. They were courteous... More

Went for brunch last Sunday....food selection for a brunch was lame! No rolls, bread prior. Luke warm coffee, service was "ok"...not crowded at all at noon on a Sunday!

We have been a few times for the Sunday brunch and we love it. What a great treat to have something like this in Clayton. The food has always been very good and we loved the variety of dishes included. Get there after 12 to add on a mimosa.
