Finally found a decent cup of coffee in the area! After getting coffee at whatever shop here claims to have "coffee" on their signs, we were getting desperate. This place is the real deal - both the regular coffee as well as their espresso drinks. I wish that I had tried this place sooner! Also, free wifi, so we were... More

As tourists, sometimes its challenging to connect to a place and find those hidden gems in an area. We were visiting Chimney Rock, and NC, for the first time and were lucky to drop in the coffee house for a refreshment and were treated to true Southern hospitality. The proprietor saw my husband inspecting the waterfall photos and immediately pulled... More

A group of our friends went into COFFEE ON THE ROCKS Saturday evening and had some special coffee prepared to match the Cortaditos we had enjoyed down in Miami, Florida! The owner knew what we wanted and he made the coffee especially for us! It was absolutely delicious!!! Now that we know how friendly and accommodating the owners are, we... More

We visited Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park yesterday, with the intention of stopping in for coffee before hand. However, with traffic, weather, and parking, we failed to make it for coffee; and, spent an excellent couple of hours at the park. We had been staying at Rambling Bald resort, with a dearth of decent coffee. So, this morning... More

Friendly and Knowledgeable staff, great coffee and smoothies. Bruce helped us figure out which places to visit, and both his parents are extremely nice. The father actually dresses up like Santa around Christmas time; true story:) I highly recommend stopping by and enjoying the beverages and conversations! Was just there on July 4th, 2014 with a friend of mine... Thanks... More

We stopped to get a drink on our way to the top of chimney rock. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us choose a drink among the many options, and even made something off the menu when we mentioned it. Would definitely stop again!

As I work online and the 4G coverage in this area is poor Coffee on the Rocks was more then welcoming to allow me to do my job and enjoy a couple cups of coffee throughout my day. The Staff was fantastically pleasant and the internet was more than adequate :) Ill come to no other coffee shop in the... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my espresso drink that was made here. It was surprisingly good! I don't know about the regular coffee... But definitely stop in for a delicious espresso drink. Also, I saw a fruit smoothie that was made and it looked really good.

Stopped in for an iced coffee. We had a large group with kids waiting for ice cream. Our crowd was a little loud but the staff didn't seem to mind at all, which is a plus in my eyes. They were very friendly and had quick service. My iced coffee was amazing and my crumb cake muffin was really good.... More
