Peter's Pancakes is a hearty way to start a day of hiking and exploring Great Smokies NP. Good coffee, tasty pancakes with extras, but the star were the restaurant's biscuits. These were biscuits from above, light, fluffy and scrumptious, some of the best I've ever eaten. I had the breakfast ham which had that salty country ham flavor, others had... More

We went in for breakfast. Food was good. Menu included standard breakfast food, but well done. Prices on par with IHOP. Our two kids enjoyed their food and the hot chocolate. There appeared to be a lot of locals. We'd go again.

Peter's is a great local dining joint, good service, wonderful food! It's local, so you are supporting the local economy, and we've never been unhappy with the service.

This place was good, but overall reminded me of a Waffle House. The menu was basically anything you would see at a WH or other pancake/waffle chain restaurant. I ordered the pancakes and it costs $2 extra to add a side. Pancakes were plentiful alone though. I expected more local flavor, and Peter's had more of a chain feel.

Always try and eat here on our way through Cherokee. I had blueberry pancakes, they were large and tasty. Their coffee is awful but I can't never remember not to order it.

The restaurant was fine, as was the taste of the food, but by the time we received our orders, they were cold. The servers were very busy and the restaurant was well air conditioned, so this probably had a bearing.

Even if you can't get there early, it is worth the wait. Simple breakfast, good prices. Food is delicious. Pancakes are plate size and fluffy. Even the coffee was great. It is diner style, and also busy with a small parking lot. If you are in a nearby hotel, choose to walk there. Very friendly staff, great service. Good selection... More

A busy restaurant - get there early to avoid a wait. Pancakes are fine and they make the kids' pancakes shaped like Mickey Mouse. Eggs were well cooked and bacon was crispy and excellent. About the only breakfast place in Cherokee outside of the casino hotel where you can get breakfast. Service good, friendly and food arrived quickly.
