Best Biscuit in Town

We love the flying biscuit for breakfast. The eggs are free range organic and there are many turkey breakfast meat options - the sausage is excellent. The meals are very large and there are often some interesting specials for breakfast. I am particularly fond of the cabin chicken, spinach... read more

If you love to have "breakfast" in the evening, this is the place to go!! Menu has a good variety of breakfast and lunch/dinner items. Even if your not a southerner, you have to try the creamy, dreamy grits.

The food is fabulous. I had a Southern omelet made with pickled greens that was heavenly and the grits and biscuits are the best. I've already returned for more and will be taking my family now that I've discovered this delicious restaurant that serves breakfast all day.

I was very pleased when I chose The Flying Biscuit Cafe for breakfast. I ordered the Hollywood Omelette, and it was prepared just as I ordered. The fruit was fresh, and the biscuits were huge and fluffy. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful. I would definitely return.

The food sounded delicious on the menu, but when I got it, it seemed like the potatoes had been reheated after being cooked earlier in the day. It was just so-so.

Love the food, but I really can't get into the atmosphere at the older location. We were there on a winter day and had to sit near the door....it was freezing and loud. I'll go back another time and try it again. I bought the cookbooks on ebay and enjoy reading about the history of the restaurant, and I am... More

Creamy, dreamy grits eh? Well we’ll see! After all, I was bred ‘n born in the South, and had my first grits back in the 1930s, and I’ve eaten them ever since, and I know what REAL grits are like. So I tried that fluffy stuff Flying Biscuits called grits and was blown away by the best grits I have... More
