Interesting food

Service was a little slow. She Crab soup and lobster mac and cheese was good. It is in the Holiday in where I stayed.

We ate dinner and the breakfast buffet. For dinner we had the Frutti Di Mare and it was very good. The best mussels I've had. For breakfast, the buffet had perfectly cooked eggs, bacon, sausage, and biscuits with gravy. A variety of fresh fruit was offered and all was perfectly ripened and fresh. Orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. Service was... More

We recently stayed at this hotel for a wedding and had the Sunday brunch before heading home. The staff was friendly and the service was good. The food was hot and they did not let anything run out. The cost was 14.95 which is not a lot, but there was not a huge selection of food. For the price however... More

We stayed in the Holiday Inn that houses this place, so convenience was an influence. Drinks and an appetizer (Seared tuna) one afternoon was pleasant and fine. Priced fair, good service and surroundings. Looks out onto College st. The next morning was a quick breakfast before the airport. Buffet ($14) looked good, but we opted for the menu. Wife had... It's ok. It's the Holiday Inn restaurant. Average food, average prices. Service is good, though! It's fine if you're staying at the hotel, but I wouldn't make a special trip for it.

If it were not for the wonderful company of friends I would have returned my food and walked out. Me and 5 friends visited this restaurant during Charlotte Restaurant week. Charlotte Restaurant week is supposed to equal a $30 3-4 course meal of high quality. This was not it. First of all, the restaurant was housed inside the Holiday Inn...that... More

I get it, it's restaurant week and you have the $30 3 course offer. So don't offer filet migon if you can't serve it at this price. Some patrons were served real filet while four people in my party got 'flank' or 'mystery meat'. The chef even stated 'I knew this would happen'. He had to cut it this way... More

I live a block away from this restaurant. I eat and drink here 1-6x/month. Their breakfast and entire menu is consistently very good. Their head chef is recognized as one of best in Charlotte, and the sous chef is also incredible. I just wish they'd add the sous chef's special breakfast crepes to their regular breakfast and lunch menu: best... More

Quickly for you scroller's, the food is really good, our service was spot on! Keep going for the details; I read some of the reviews and wondered which to believe. My family enjoys what we call food adventures, meaning we search Trip Advisor for new experiences and vote and go! Our track record so far isn't bad. Caffe Siena was... More
