Great food save room for dessert!

2nd visit we got a variety of sides and veggies. Fried okra was great and the au gratin potatoes are amazing. Corn not so much and don't waste the calories on the bread it is pretty hard. Green beans we bit undergone, I love al dente veggies but this was almost raw. Save room for the coconut cake... read more

Bar-b-que sauce on chicken is a little different but it is terrific. The sides are excellent. Wait staff is attentive.....you can't go wrong here.

We went on a Monday night and they ran out of a lot of things like the featured wine and a dessert. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything we had. We ordered 2 portions of calamari for the table. It had a unique dipping sauce and was delicious. The bread was also great, crispy crust and soft inside. My friend had... More

This is 3rd time I ordered something to go from here for lunch but the first time I really decided to say something because usually I just get a side item to go. 1 piece of chicken and a small side order of succotash should NOT cost $19.50 including tax, Quality of food is good but chicken honestly no better... I went to dinner here with a large group of friends on a Friday night and made a reservation about a week out. I was told we would be in the atrium which sounded pretty nice and it seemed like it's own separate room. Turns out that the Atrium is basically a breezeway between the two parts of the restaurant.... More

The ambience of this Roosters is fabulous, both rustic and elegant at the same time. The clientele were dressed quite sharply. But, our waiter is what really shows what a classy joint this is. He knew his menu so well, and had all the time in the world to describe these regional cuisines to us 'northerners'. His recommendations were spot... More

Have never had issues eating at Roosters but I don't love the space and if you eat outside, you might be on a slight slope that makes dining interesting. We rarely eat any of the entrees but instead focus on the "from the garden" section with the asparagus, pan-fried corn and butter beans being our regular favorites. On occasion they... More

I tried this place based on the recommendations of several coworkers who couldn't stop raving about it. I was expecting so much more. The atmosphere is nice enough, service was average. The quality of the food was poor. My macaroni and cheese was runny and the pasta was rubbery. The rest of the meal was equally underwhelming. I'm not sure... More

My husband and I just happened to stop and eat here as we were leaving Charlotte. We were pleasantly surprised by how good it was! We sat outside to enjoy the patio, but we both went inside to see the décor and lovely bar area. Our server was excellent, and the server for the party beside us was great, too.... More
