Really fresh food. Turkey breast roasted on site, nothing like store bought deli meat. They included hierloom tomatoes on my sandwich which were very tasty. Onion rings that accompanied the sandwich were lightly battered not too greasy. They do farm to table well.

One of the best non-chain restaurant downtown Charlotte. Very original cheese and charcuterie boards. The mustard is the stronguest I have ever had anywhere including France (makes Amora sweet in comparison). Amazing BBQ sauce used with the chicken that does not stay on your stomach forever. The wine selection is not extensive but there are some nice bottles such as... More

This place is really, really good. It's unique in that you pick your entree and sides separately, so you can get the exact combination that you want. My boyfriend and I split a half BBQ chicken and ordered three sides--the succotash, the grilled squash, and the potato puree. The chicken was moist and the barbecue sauce was sweet and really... It was my first time at the restaurant, although I come to the area often. The decor is extremely nice. I had shrimp and grits, which were as tasty as I've had anywhere in Charlotte. This restaurant will become one of my recommendations to my friends.

Ate here with several colleagues, and the service was friendly from walking in the door, and the food was very good. We had the pork shoulder, scallops, and a salad, and they were all very good. It is a nice place to go with friends - a bit of a buzz, but not too noisy so you can still have... More

We walked to the restaurant in the pouring rain. Our server was very considerate and gave us napkins to wipe off with. That set the mood for a great evening. Really nice atmosphere and not too noisy. Great wood oven prepared food and especially the sides we had the beets and frites . Nice wine selection. Excellent service.

The restaurant is pretty big and is really nice inside though the exterior is pretty cookie cutter in a strip mall. The food is served a la carte and we were told by our server that everything from dressings to breadcrumbs is made from scratch in-house. They are a farm to fork concept, with most of it being local. The... More

On a business trip a colleague recommended this spot for drinks after work. It was described as a sports bar so we were expecting it to be more casual than it actually was. The bar seating was not great and the drinks were pricey...NO happy hour. The drinks and service were both good but it was a bit pricey.

Roosters has fabulous food and wine. this New Yorker says Roosters made the best pastrami ever. Roosters can be very noisy. Now with live music on the weekends, plan your visiting time accordingly.
