This and RiRa hold the Irish title in mid town Charlotte. RiRa has better furnishings. Connolly's seems to have a younger and a more fun crowd. Can't go wrong either place

Standard Irish pub - Guinness and Harp on tap, good music- pretty tame crowd of twenty-something's and a few of us 'elders' - 30's-40's. One downfall is the single bathroom. Such a cliché to wait in a long line at the ladies room! Overall, good place to enjoy a drink and people-watch.

We happened to have a few nights out at this wonderful pub. It has a certain rustic charm and serves a wonderful pint of Guiness. It is a drinks only pub and it reminds me of the pubs in Dublin as it has a great atmosphere while not being trendy in anyway. We had Irish barmen serve us which added... More

We stopped in and had a beer and it was very good. Dark inside but great atmosphere. There is an outside area too but it was very warm outside. Nice selection of beers! Worth a stop.

Great place in Charlotte uptown area to relax with a "pint" of your favorite brew. Staff is awesome, unlike most places in uptown they actually pay attention to their customers/guests. Make sure you stop here every time you're in Uptown/downtown Charlotte.

After a seeing War Horse at the Blumenthal a short walk across the street to one of the best pubs in Charlotte. It offers some great brew and some of the best corned beef you will find unless you go to NYC or Boston! Service was good but it was also very crowded so U deal with it and drink... More

The only downside, no food. But that is easily solved, there are tons of places to eat. Now, Connolly's is a traditional pub, with not just the feel of Irish, but Irish all around you. The staff is great. Quick to serve, even large crowds. They pour the perfect pint, so don't expect your Guinness to come in 30 seconds!... More

The pub is small, it took about 10 minutes sitting at the bar to get a drink and the music was super load...they have 2 mackie 450s (speakers) hanging from the ceiling but they are cranked all the way up so it's tough to talk.

Reminds me of a local bar in New Jersey. Ample seating outdoors & corn hole. Relaxed setting. Will definitely be back next time were in Charlotte!
