Everything about this place is amazing even though it's not a sit down place. The hush puppies are off the hook, so is the chicken. Best chicken I've ever had

I am a native Charlottean, and I cant think of a better take-out spot than Price's Chicken Coop. The staff is always friendly, and you are always treated like family. I have been going here for years and I have had just about everything on their menu. The fish is excellent, the chicken is tasty and not too greasy, even... More

This was our first time visiting so we wanted to try a variety. We got 1 fried chicken meal and 1 side order each of fried shrimp, livers, and gizzards. While most probably don't care for livers and gizzards anyway (we are fans), the sides were only okay. The fried chicken is definitely the specialty here so order up on... More

I dont understand all the hype for this place. The chicken does taste better than Bojangles and KFC but it is not the best i 've ever had. The wings are super small and not the best value for your money. People really like this place so give it a try but keep your expectations in check.

The employees at this restaurant were so nice. Very patient with a person like me who wanted to try everything on the menu. The food was freshly cooked, delicious and delivered quickly.

Ok so if you're from the south like me you know good chicken is hard to find. The best chicken I ever seemed to find was at my high school for lunch and no one has ever been able to duplicate it except for this place anyone who hasn't been definitely needs to go now!!!

It was a tad salty but it must be one of the best fried chicken I ever had. The batter was light. I wasn't too greasy. However, it was a tad salty and not as moist as I expected it to be.
