Best fried chicken in Charlotte!

It's always packed for a reason, this is true southern fried chicken at its best. It's no wonder that it's an institution!

Wish there were more real Southern fried chicken places like this! So good ... call ahead to order so you don't have to wait in line.

The chicken, gizzards & livers were good, the sides just ok. It is worth the experience to see the long standing community relationship and to eat the fried chicken. It is take-out and cash only. If you order over the phone, plan on it taking 30 minutes. Go try the chicken!

Even if you're not a fan of fried food, Price's is worth the visit for the experience itself. When I visited i waited in time for just a minute or so before ordering takeout. Fried shrimp was good, but again this is really a place you visit for the experience.

This is an old style, fried chicken, take out only delight . Lick your fingers and let the meat fall off the bone. No computers, just pens, writing on boxes, from a seasoned staff that feels like they have worked to get her forever. Don't let the out the door overflow turn you away. The lines are quick enough, and... More

No frills, no glitz but hands down the best Southern Fried Chicken in Charlotte. All you need is the chicken and the white bread.

Some of the best food and sweet tea your taste buds could ever taste. It's a family favorite and has been around for generations. Always a thumbs up in my book

Whenever I'm in the mood for fried chicken Price's Chicken Coop is the only place I will consider. I always kind of get the feeling like I'm in the Seinfeld Soup Natzie episode when I step up to the counter to place my order because the place is in motion and orders are flying out of the kitchen. This is... More

I have been eating at prices since I was a young kid, still tastes just like it did back then. We brought friends who had never been, they said it's the best fried chicken they have ever eaten! Love this place!
