Great food and great service

To be totally honest, this place holds a sentimental place in my heart as it's where my wife and I went on our first date in Charlotte. That said, I think I'm still being objective when I say the food is excellent. We usually get the mussels in white wine sauce, and it's amazing. Being from... read more

I visited Georges Brasserie yesterday and have to say it was quite good. Having never been there before, I decided to have a variety of appetizers. We had the cheese and charcuterie board which was plentiful and presented nicely. The cheeses were delicious. I thought the sweetbreads were a bit gamey in flavor and rather chewy in texture. I would... More

Georges is one of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte. The Mother's day brunch is to die for! My husband planned a birthday dinner for me there and the service was amazing! I just love this place!

The Sunday brunch is a good value. When the weather is nice there is a lovely terrace. The selection of entrees was very satisfactory, and prepared tastefully. Really nice selection of fresh salads, and the service was excellent. Oysters on the half shell are very popular here.

We revisited GB to take advantage of their Friday oyster special. The oysters were just OK, fresh but it took two to make up a taste. I also believe that restaurants need to present all the customary condiments rather than having to ask for this or that. We cruised with Steak Tartare, ceviche & lamb meatballs but stopped after that... More

We were at a private party for 22 . The staff was very accommodating of modifications to the menu selections as it was a preset menu. The lamb pops were exceptional, super tender and flavourful . The scallops were seared perfectly and served with a sautéed kale . Desert was Creme Brule or chocolate bread pudding , both were very... More

We stopped in for a quick lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is elegant, yet cozy. We enjoyed a deliciously prepared authentic french meal for a very reasonable price.

Reasonably priced - we go there to eat mussels and escargots ... the have good basic french food and fresh baguette. Excellent service and most importantly one can sit outside under a roof. Try their brunch on Sundays and have croque madame and beignets.

Overwhelmed is what they were on Easter. Our 1:45 PM turned out closer to 2:15PM. I'm not a big buffet fan but their selections were nice, shrimp were 16/20 count, roast beef was good quality and salads covered a broad spectrum of ingredients. Again, the issue was control. Whomever took the reservations needs some training on spacing with less emphasis... More

We were on a couples date for brunch...and the 4 of us LOVED it!! We were there for 2.5 hours! The service was amazing! The food was double amazing! And, the bottomless Mimosas were so delicious!
