Went for lunch during the week but it was a special occasion. The wine and food were great and so was the service. We were aware of the prices when we chose the restaurant.

We dined here several years ago and it was excellent. However, recently we went here with a group of 5 for a very special lunch celebration. We were greeted at the door by a gentleman who appeared to be unfriendly. The waitress was friendly and attentive. However, when we received our meals, we were all disappointed. The lasagna tasted like... More

Outstanding, authentic Italian food. The lasagna was particularly good. Great service, too. Great restaurant that I'd recommend to anyone looking for fine Italian food.

I will dream of this meal. I ordered the Mare - so many varieties of seafood on pasta. Everything was cooked to perfection. Absolutely delicious. Lovely, lovely.

My wife and I dined here for the first time recently. We enjoyed everything about the experience ... ambiance, food (appetizer & entrees), service & price.

This is a downtown restaurant that looks like it caters to business diners. It has high ceilings and a stark modernist vibe. Service was competent yet slow. Food was well prepared from the relatively short and simple menu. Prices were reasonable for the location.

Situation : 2:26 pm Friday. We come in for lunch. Told by what appears to be the manager, shorter man, balding, thin stature, that "we are closed" Wow. Obviously this man has never owned a restaurant nor should be in the industry. Doors were open, posted in the window, lunch served till 2:30 .Way to lose business and the many... More

Ate lunch at Luce for co-worker's birthday. Excellent Italian food. I had veal piccata with sautéed spinach. Very tasty. Prices are a tad high for a typical business lunch but you get what you pay for. Staff is very attentive. Parking in GeRst Tower was a bit of a pain. If you were coming in off of Tryon, or walking... We travel to NYC often and have the opportunity to try many of the numerous restaurants in Manhattan. Luce is right up there with some of the best Italian restaurants we've been to and then some! It's not a big place but has a very cozy and warm ambiance. It's a great place for a date or a special occasion.... More
