Atmosphere is great! Staff is very friendly and welcoming. It's "home" food so nothing too exciting. The chicken and dumplings were highly recommended and very tasty. Great neighborhood restaurant.
We ordered a little bit of everything. All of the food was great and our waitress Yolanda was super friendly and great recommendations.
Got there in the middle of the afternoon, the place was not crowded when we got there but a number of groups (two to four people) came in after we sat down. The food was very good, my wife had a burger with mushrooms and I had the Cajun Meatloaf w/ mashed potatoes. My side was tomato basil soup, which... More
We were visiting Charlotte for the day from the Cola area and looked for a Triple D restaurant. We loved Dish. I had yummy, warm chicken and dumplings on a chilly day. My husband had the Cajun meatloaf and enjoyed it too. Service was great.
Comfort food at its best. We had the meatloaf and shrimp and grits. Perfectly done.We sat at the bar , bartender was very attentive. tentive.
Ate dinner here about 3 weeks ago. There were three generations at the table,6 of us total, and everyone found something to love. I had the pot roast, which is one of my favorite meals. It was a HUGE portion. It was also TERRIFIC! Very tender and moist, with great gravy. Loved the biscuit and loved loved loved the deviled egg... More
My wife and I got off early so decided to grad an early dinner. She heard about this place a while back from her boss and it never seemed like the right time to go. The ribs had zero seasoning and were baked. The perch was so fishy tasting we couldn't even eat it without gagging and we... More
Service was great, very on the ball. Food was great (Mac and cheese not so much), dessert was even better!
I love the meatloaf...Minus the gravy sauce and add spicy ketchup instead. It's yummy yummy. The sweet mashed potatoes are good too. The portions are nice and big. I'd recommend this to anyone. The staff is nice too.
