Great Prime Rib

My wife and I ate at Carolina Prime yesterday for lunch. We have eaten here on various occasions before, but it had been a long time since our last outing here. It turned out to be a great choice. She had the Sirloin from the menu, and I had the Prime Rib special (just $14 or $15). Both steaks... read more

Friendly staff will take care of you here. The menu has a good variety. It was within walking distance of our hotel and offered a 10% discount for us because we were staying at the hotel close by. The Big Apple Pie should have been called The Minuscule Apple Pie because there was mainly ice-cream on the plate and we... More

I was in town on business and discovered this jewel of a place. The experience from beginning to end was excellent. The atmosphere was comfortable with a perfect mix of relaxation and fun music. The bartender (Cindy) was an absolute joy and her service was great. My filet was amazing and cooked to perfection. Even better, I found out it... More

When you go to North Carolina, you have to try Carolina pulled pork. Theirs was delicious and plentiful. Sliced bread was served on the side and was freshly baked and delicious. The coleslaw was good but a little too sweet for my preference. The service was superb and typified southern hospitality at it's best.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner from the airport. We had no previous knowledge of the place. It's was around 8 pm. We both started with a salad, which was fresh, and the dressings, served on the side, were generous and tasty. I had one of the specials, a lobster tail and 10 oz ribeye. Both were cooked... More

I chose this restaurant for the menu here on Trip Advisor based on the seafood selections and prices and nearness to my hotel. The facility is nice enough... clean with an eclectic correction of wooden kitsch. No real style to it, but not offensive. "Upscale Family Restaurant" might describe it. The menu presented didn't fully match what is hetre online...... More

Carolina Prime is near our site in Charlotte - we have now added this to our list of "go-to" places! The lunch specials were pretty tasty and Alicia, our waitress, was very attentive to our needs.

My wife and I had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant before Christmas. Was in town and staying at a hotel not far from this location. Not familiar with the area, we relied on some TripAdvisor reviews of this location. Note that it comes highly recommended. We expected a casual dining steak place and that is what it appears.... We had dinner here one night and returned for breakfast and dinner the next day! Oysters Rockafeller were delicious! Loved the grilled shrimp and the salmon pita! Breakfast special was 4.95 for 2 eggs, meat, potatoes, and bread! Delicious! Waitstaff remembered us from the day before and gave us special treatment! loved it!
