We were running around uptown Charlotte and stopped in for a quick slice of pizza. It was a very quick stop and the pizza wasn't bad.

Not bad, but not great. A little more expensive than I expected or for what you get. I thought the wings were better than the pizza. We ordered by the slice, and it looked like the pizza had been sitting out awhile. They brought the food to our table piecemeal, so by the time our youngest child received her food,... More

Fuel sells pizza by the slice, or the entire pizza. This is a typical quick pizza place -- you place your order at the counter and they bring it to you. Pizza is good but not exceptional.

I've eaten here several times over the years while attending a convention. The food is consistently good, and a great alternative to the overpriced offerings at the convention center or the nearby hotels. It has the atmosphere of a college pizza joint. Old filling station motif, with gas pumps, grease barrels, and even fan belts and wiper blades on the... More

We were searching for somewhere to eat as we drove into Charlotte for a minor league hockey game. Google Maps pulled this location up when searching for restaurants near the Time Warner Cable Arena. We passed a few dozen places as we wandered from our parking deck. Glad we didn't stop into any of those. Love the pre-set specials you... More

We were Uptown to see a show at the Knight Theater and very few places were open on a Sunday evening. Fuel Pizza was one of our only options. The food was ready quickly and the taste was good but the ordering system is a little offputting. You go up to the counter and order calzones and slices in one... More

Wanted some good pizza & my wife & I went here based on reviews. I'm not sure why this place has the high remarks that it does but I came away disappointed with the food. The service was OK, but I could've gotten a better pizza by checking out pizza hut & for a much better price as well. The... More

Went here with a group for lunch. The location certainly gets a lot of business given that it's uptown "On the Green", however, the pizza is just average at best, in fact a little stale after being reheated (when ordered). The wait staff isn't very friendly either and it's pretty expensive per slice.... about 20-22 dollars per whole pie. Go... More

I usually don't write negative reviews but in this case I had to. I ordered a calzone and while talking to the server I mentioned that I'm from NY. He then told me that I was about to have the best calzone I ever ate. Well, he was very wrong. It was the WORST calzone I had ever had. I... More
