Closed! Do not bother to come to this location. The place was good before it closed and sucks they close it down.
The southside Vinnies is closed, but the Vinnie's on Williamson Rd. off I 77 is fun and right on Lake Norman - you can arrive by boat and dock right there. The oysters were good, the beer is cheap and the burgers are really good. Dress casually.
This one is the Vinnie's on South Blved. They have other restraunts as well but I haven't been to those. Thirty-five cent raw oysters and $1.50 beer specials make this a decent place to visit in Charlotte. Oysters are rather small but what can you expect this far from the shore! Pretty decent waitstaff too. A little rushed at times... More
Great little joint. Sunday visit found us craving for their oysters but they were out. No problem, will return when supplies are ample. Beside, Anthony Bourdain preaches that one shouldn't eat seafood on Sunday as the last delivery is generally made the previous Thursday, good advice.
Depending on your expectations, this place may be for you, may be not. It''s a notch above a dive bar- on the small size, more of a glorified beer joint with a seafood theme. All the bartenders are young and female (I had adequate service), borrowing from the Hooter's standard. Good beer prices. I can only comment on what I... More
Had dinner here with a group of friends of 7/2. My husband wanted seafood, and another online reviewing site gave this place high marks. So we decided to have dinner here. This place is not that good at all. It's not the worst place I've ever been, but I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend to anyone. My husband... More
I've been to Vinnie's twice now in the past few weeks to meet some friends for the Tuesday night trivia. I didn't really go to do much eating or drinking, but I tried a few of the appetizers some friends ordered for the table. Everything was deep fried, greasy and served with a side of ranch, which isn't all that... More
OK, our 25 Yr old daughter wanted to take us here for the clams on 05/01/10. Upon arriving, I got a bad feeling. When we sat down, another group 3 guys and 2 girls sat near. They ordered two pails of bottled beer. I haven't seen it all and this added to my experience. One guy, we guess was their... More
Great food but this location for Vinnie's is the smallest.
