Great restuarant

We went out to eat at Carpe Diem on a Saturday night for a birthday dinner. They have their own parking lot which is nice to not have to search for parking or pay for it. I wanted to order the scallops, but after reading all the review about the fried chicken I asked our waitress about it. She... read more

Maybe not fine dining but good food in a beautiful restaurant. The glass and metal working made for a surprisingly pretty venue. Good selection of fish (I ate cobia) and decent wine list. Good location near just about everything.

Interresting cuisine. The Heritage Farm Pork Chop and the Duck Filet were both really good and prepared with non traditional sides which was a nice change. Service was excellent and the place looks like it was designed by Gaudi. Great for client dinners and can also accomodate larger groups which is nice for our project teams.

Being new to Charlotte, we tried Carpe Diem last night and really enjoyed it. We shared the Carpaccio and the kale salad....both fabulous. I had the squid ink pasta with calamari.....delicious and he had the chicken which he enjoyed. We'll definitely be back.

Arrived in Charlotte and decided to check out this restaurant . I had the fried chicken . Delicious and not greasy. I am not a big fan of mashed potatoes so they happily substituted a sweet potato vegetable casserole . The other diner had duck. It was prepared very well and presented with rice and veggies. We were dining late... More

My husband and I visited Carpe Diem for dinner during Restaurant Week. The restaurant is deceiving from the outside. It is romantic and quiet inside. The service was exceptional. My husband had the Fried Chicken and I had the steak; although the Fried Chicken overshadowed the rest of the meal (I don't even remember what we had for dessert --... More

Came late at night. There was plenty of space. The service was excellent along with the meal. I will be back again!

Carpe Diem understands great food and service. I had a business dinner today that was outstanding in every way. The drinks, wine, seafood and desserts were all prepared and served the way you would expect in a restaurant rated in the top 5 in Charlotte. I will be back again soon.

Went here with a good friend for dinner and had one of the best dining experienced I've ever had. The atmosphere is soothing and upscale. I enjoyed the soft mood lighting. Started off with a tequila cocktail that was delicious and followed up with the duck breast served with sweet potato purée and golden beats--YUM! The flavors were splendidly adventurous.... More
