Excellent Brunch!

Tried Bonterra for the first time at Easter Brunch & we'll definitely be back! Service was warm and friendly and the buffet had lots to choose from. The eggs benedict was great!!

The atmosphere is awesome, because the restaurant is in a former church. Nice intimate setting on both floors. We had been here previously for other holiday celebrations & knew we wanted to come back. But this Mother's Day wasn't impressive at all. They changed from a set menu to buffet. I personally was ok with the change, but at least... More

The old church is kind of cool and the art inside is pretty sweet. The service was good for this class of restaurant and the entres were anywhere between good to great. We loved the charcuterie and the appitizers but the main courses were a little hit and miss. Although the steak got rave reviews from one of my colleguaes,... More

Interesting decor, in an old church. But seemed a little drafty. Food was good, with a good selection for restaurant week. Portions seemed normal sized. Had the trout and my friend had the steak. Both were tasty with interesting sides.

My wife and I met some friends from Pittsburgh here the other night and could not have been more happy. The appetizers ( Wagyu Carpaccio, Fried Lobster Tail with Champagne Sauce) were absolutely killer. I had the Filet special and my wife had the fresh catch special which were better meals than you could find in any restaurant in Pittsburgh... More

This was our fourth and final night out during the Taste of Charlotte restaurant week. I didn't know until we got there that the restaurant used to be an old church prior to conversion 30 years ago. Very nicely decorated, you can see the choir balcony where they have additional seating. We got there at 5:30 PM and immediately seated.... More

On a business trip with good friends we tried this place at the recommendation of the hotel staff. Were they spot on! Good wine list at fair prices. Excellent food well presented. Service was so good it seemed effortless... but of course to do that takes class. The intertwining of locally sources foods with their interpretations of classic dishes made... More

This was the first time we have visited Bonterra. We went during restaurant week and we think that was a mistake. We really hope the quality of food is better than what we were served. My husband ordered the cheese platter and the cheeses that were given wasn't anything special. He was at least hoping for a type of blue... More

We took our family to Bonterra to celebrate my daughter leaving to study abroad. We had family fly in from DC to attend the dinner. We chosen Bonterra because we had dine here numerous times before and always had a wonderful experience. First. They didn't give us the option to order off the regular menu. Which I found strange. 3... More
