We arranged to have dinner at Toscana after a memorial service for a family member. We chose Toscana, requesting seating in their outdoor seating area. It was a great choice. They were ready for our party of 8 and we were seated promptly. The wait staff handled the ordering smoothly, not always easy with a group this large. Our choice... More

We have had several great experiences at this place, but between Christmas and New Years my wife and I visited Toscana for a special dinner. Unfortunately, that must have been a time for the key people to take a break. Our waiter, while competent, was not well informed about the menu, and seemed to be more interested in serving another... Service was so so. It was busy and the bartender waited on us and she was really busy but not attentive. They do give you so great bread and this incredible bean bruchetta and that was fantastic! But the calamari was so so and the chicken masala needed garlic. Overall so so probably wouldn't go back. But I am going... More

This place is pretty small and crowded but the quality of the food and service is well worth the closeness of the tables. Excellent wine list served at the perfect temperature. The salmon, scallops and bass were all cooked to perfection! Try the tiramisu... it is heavenly!

We were a drop in on a busy Friday night. Friendly, competent hostess, informative wait staff. Authentic northern Italian food. Ala carte and easy to run up your tab, but a reasonable wine list. Sort of noisy, but in a comfortable way.

It is a very nice restaurant with a cozy environment. The service is superb and the food is awesome. I had a pesce dil giorno which was a grouper prepared in a very unique style with polenta and a lentil soup. Very nice wine selection. In one phrase, a great dining experience.

I reside in Charlotte and have been here for 10 years and I believe that Toscana's is the best this city has to offer. The location is in a strip mall, but in a courtyard. It is small, but loud and bustling, with a small bar. It has outside seating if the weather is appropiate. We went on a Saturday... More

Toscana's cuisine is true to Italy flavors and quality. Pasta is made fresh daily. Sauces are fresh and full of flavor. Mussels in marinara tasted similar to a dish enjoyed in Grosetto,Italy. Gelato and tiramisu are light and full of flavor. I enjoyed many items on their menu during 2 weeks of training in Charlotte and was never disappointed. Staff... More

I live in Charlotte and don't frequently review restaurants unless I"m traveling, but after my Friday night dinner I had to. My boyfriend and I visited for restaurant week Friday night and the service was above and beyond. Renee our waitress took great care of us. She helped us decide on glasses of wine we would enjoy and made amazing... More
