Business Anniversary Celebration

A group of 10 of us celebrated a colleague's 30th work anniversary. The food was excellent, appetizers, meals and desserts. Be aware that no reservations are taken for noon and after for lunch dining, a;though you can reserve a time prior to noon.

Our party of 3 enjoyed a great dinner at Mimosa, once we found it, The perch was fried perfectly with fabulous mashed potatoes and great southern biscuits. I had the creme bruelee for desert. Awesome meal... highly recommend!

Three extended family members and I had dinner at the Mimosa Grill the other night and everybody agreed their meals were excellent. The pork dish I ate was unbelievably tender and delicious. The only comparable pork creation that compares with it I ate at DC Coast in Washington, DC several years back.

A large but comfortable restaurant with very good service. The menu has a nice range of interesting choices including local seafood offerings. The pecan crusted NC mountain trout was very well prepared. A good portion of tasty well cooked fish served on a bed of mashed potato and fresh green beans.

By far this is my favorite Sunday brunch spot in Charlotte. They have a full buffet including carving stations with ham and roast beef. I recently treated my godmothers to Sunday Brunch after church service and they loved it. One of my godmothers is 98 years old and the staff was very accommodating. Although we did not have a reservation,... More

We had a large group of family and friends in from out of town to celebrate because our niece was graduating from UNC-Charlotte Saturday morning. Of course they also had an event for graduation on Friday so we were all going to meet afterward for a late dinner. The place we chose, Mimosa Grill, was near the Marriott downtown so... More

I absolutely LOVE this place and will go again the next time I visit Charlotte. We had the Pecan Crusted Trout which goes beyond delicious. It was covered in a peach chutney and was served over green beans and mashed potatoes. The restaurant is beautifully done and in a great area. It has indoor and outdoor seating. Love it and... More

I has been many years since I last visiting Mimosa Grill. It is still going strong and providing great food and service. You cant go wrong with the crawfish hushpuppies or the shortribs. Their seafood offerings are also very good. Wine and beer selection is good and the servers are very knowledgeable and provide great menu advice.

I had only average expectations for this place. I usually don't like cavernous, modernly decorated, middle America type places. However, the food was actually very fresh, well prepared, and flavorful. The dishes wouldn't have been out of place at trendier places in DC or NY. Service was excellent. And at least it's not in the freakin' "Epicenter." Ugh.

The wait staff was excellent, kudos to Andy. Food was good, however I felt appetizers (cheese board/beet salad ) were lacking. Cheeses were lumps not very allaying and very small. Beet salad was pretty bland. Others really like the lobster macaroni however. Squash casserole could have been more flavorful. Compared to other uptown restaurants, this is not a favorite.
