Yummy dinner

We ate at Mimosa before seeing a play at the Belk Theatre and decided to sit outside on their patio. They were busy and the patio was full, but there was plenty of room and the evening was warm. We both had entree size portions of appetizers- shrimp and grits for me, and crab cakes for my... read more

Seafood specials were excellent. A beautiful view and great outdoor dining atmosphere. Mimosas were watery not great very weak on the orange juice.

Everything tasted sooooo good! Got the stuffed chicken with a side of squah casserole! All the sides were to die for! The dessert we got was a lemon meringue strawberry triffle....omg very delicious!!!

Menu very interesting. Only tried one dish, salmon salad. Felt salad could have been bigger but food was delicious and I think it is a place for healthy eaters. I eat healthy but I like larger portions. I rather leave a little on the plate than, not have quite enough.

We were looking for a nice brunch buffet for the family for Easter Sunday. This place was very nice, good atmosphere, good service and the food was beyond expectations--lamb, cedar plank salmon, exotic salads and side dishes, even a grits bar, which was a delight for us Northerners! And the best mac-and-cheese ever. And the desserts--little cheese cakes, brownies, chocolate-covered... More

Stopped in twice for drinks after extended workdays during a recent foray to the Wells Fargo Center. Pleasant place to sit at the bar; the young bar staff are friendly if not super knowledgeable about adult beverages. Good selection of wines, predominantly from California. Nice atmosphere on a rainy night.

We were heading to the March Madness games in and had 45 minutes. The waiter asked us when we sat down if we had a time constraint. 40 minutes later we had eaten an outstanding meal, not rushed, with an app. The seafood was excellent, the folks around us all seemed to be enjoying themselves. Relaxed and just right!

Best meal in the states so far. The hush puppies for entree were fantastic as was the trout. Both are signature dishes for this place. Staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful.

We went around 9:30pm Saturday night and it wasn't too busy. We weren't that hungry, so we just got some appetizers. We had Crab Cakes- very good, Lobster macaroni and cheese - very good and rich and a small salad which was good, but over dressed. It took awhile for our items to appear which was surprising as it didn't... More

My fiancé and I tried Mimosa Grill last night for the first time. It was AMAZING! Great food, great laid-back atmosphere! I had the Butternut squash bisque (OMG!!), squash casserole & baby greens. Some of the best vegetables I have ever eaten!! My fiancé had the Shrimp & Grits and the duck. He was IN LOVE with the shrimp &... More
