I had a great dinner here with a few friends. The atmosphere was pleasant. The wait staff was excellent and attentive. The jambalaya was great as an appetizer. I had the trout which I believe had a pecan crust. There were 2 pieces and I suggest separating them right away. The bottom piece got soggy. I had a Long Island... More

We were invited to a wedding reception on the 7th of Sept. at the restaurant and before we attended I check the reviews to see what other said. well they gave it 5 out of 5. They were WRONG . I love the taste of good food and that food needed to be above and beyond a 5. The waiting... More

Walked over for a late Sunday afternoon dinner and my husband enjoyed what he called the "tenderest steak he ever ate"! While I enjoyed the $3 mimosa and my own meal, I did sneak a taste of his tenderloin and it was "melt in your mouth" good. Relaxing atmosphere and the weather was perfect with low humidity and upper 70's... More

We visited on Sunday over Labor Day weekend and it was just the perfect way to start the day:-) We arrived on foot (stayed at a nearby downtown hotel) about 11:15am and were seated promptly. Waitress was friendly and efficient explaining that the $3 mimosas (or any alcohol for that matter) weren't available until after 12pm. She also brought our... More

I went there for lunch with a business associate. We were seated right away on the patio. It had a beautiful view of the square. There was a little hic-up on who our actual sever was but we got excellent service anyway. I had the the ancho rubbed chicken sandwich. It was very tasty and I ate the whole thing!... More

We spent the day wandering around Charlotte, NC., and about 4:30PM, were starving. One of the storekeepers recommended the Mimosa Grill. So foo we went. It was between lunch and dinner, but they had a special bar menu. It was outstanding. My husband had a salad with grilled chicken, which was outstanding. I had a patty melt sandwich, I asked... More

Location is great downtown, staff was attentive and professional. The food was nice and good quality for the price. My husband had the "loaded mashed potatoes" which was about 75% cheese and then some potatoes.....not ideal, but otherwise everything we had was recommendable. LOVED the biscuits they serve.

Been going to Mimosa for the better of 10 years and they continue to maintain a very good standard of business casual, business formal and very good food.
