Six of us had brunch there today. I'd read the reviews about the slow service, and was mentally prepared to wait. Our waiter, Dan, was excellent and the service was quick and very professional. Pewter Rose has a good wine list, great atmosphere, enjoyable and comfortable bar area and wonderful food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in Charlotte. Try the veggie lasagna or the Pecan-crusted trout. They are delicious. They always have good soups. This is a very relaxing place to be. more

With all the restaurants that come and go, this remains a great place for lunch or dinner that your women friends and family will love. The menu has a number of smaller portioned items, with lots of vegetarian and fish choices. There is a real chef who can really cook the complicated and diverse offerings. Really enjoyable brunch more
Ambiance is great. Service was very slow even though there were only 6 tables occupied and 2 servers. Calamari was chewy, so was chicken. Chicken was a bit dry also. Nothing very special about any of the plates. Chcolate truffle cake was average. For the money I would go to Carpe Diem or M5. more
