The upstairs live band is great to enjoy, but the room is small so we go on odd nights like Wednesday. The fried oysters are the best I've had every. They are Great. Fried green tomatoes are also yummy. More

The bar-b-que shrimp is a must with plenty of bread to soak up the juice. We have eaten there 4 times nd not one bad thing to say. Very good food and a little spicy. More

I was excited to go and check out the gumbo at the Cajun Queen. I was a bit taken aback when I was selecting from the menu and the waiter talked me into a cup of gumbo over a bowl, letting me know it's not that great (which it wasn't). However, I did enjoy the fried oysters which were light... More

I ordered my food through makeafoodiecall.com on 4/27. I order Wash Day blues , Creole, and Diane. I am a very upset customer due to the fact I got sick from eating the Wash day blues which consist of "Wash Day Blues - A heaping bowl of red beans and rice with Andouille sausage " - on the cajunqueen.net website.... Better dinner found elsewhere in Charlotte. If you have been in New Orleans other than the tourist traps on bourbon St, you will find this is really not the true Cajun dinning. Over the years I have tried different specials, and found the food lacking. I would suggest you try Razzoo's Cajun Café. More

Enjoyed the atmosphere. Very fun restaurant. Band played while dining and sipping on cocktails. Only had appetizer(Gumbo) and desert (bread pudding), but it was delicious. More

We always get the oyster platter. Ask for two portions of the dipping sauce. Always fresh broccoli and their great homemade cole slaw. Ysters are abundant and fried to perfection More

We really enjoyed this restaurant! We arrived almost thirty minutes early, and they seated us immediately. I made our reservation through Opentable.com and requested to be seated near the live jazz band and was accomodated. The seating up stairs is very tight and at times the band was so loud you could not hear the waitress. The food was so... More
