I ordered the dry aged porterhouse. I felt to was better than I expected. I will order it with out the sauce next time. The steak was a good value for the money. I ordered the house vodka (Finlandia) as a single in a tall glass with soda. I was surprised that it was $11.00 each. I understand that some... More

After many recommendations, we walked to the Capital Grille. The atmosphere is a traditional dark wood paneled restaurant with many oil painted portraits of what I assumed to be prominent NC politicians. This was a "special occasion" type of restaurant. The wine selection is good, and there are some options for by-the-glass. The clam chowder appetizer had a lot of... More

My wife and I have made the Capital Grille our go to place for our anniversary dinner, as it can be very expensive, but man o man, the food is amazing. After 2 or 3 visits, we've got our order pretty much down to the T. You've got to start out with the Lobster bisque. It has huge chunks of... More

Went to the Capital Grill for an anniversary celebration. Everything was top notch, $$$, of course. Went early to beat the weekend rush, and am glad we did. The tables are already close, and the noise level was acceptable, but it did get much louder, and I noticed the bar area was packed when we were leaving. Our waiter was... More

I'm not a huge fan of steak restaurants, but my son is and really wanted us to go here. And I am glad that we did. After a long day of setting up his first apartment, we had a late reservation. We started out with drinks at the bar. I had their special infused pineapple martini. It went down very... More

Had a fantastic meal. Sea bass was the best I have ever had and the lobster mac was heavenly. Beautiful wine list, food and service. Big shout out to Scott our server! He was wonderful.

I always enjoy going to Capital Grille. I visited this one in Charlotte while on business. As usual, the service, food and décor were superb. Oysters, salad, asparagus and lobster were the selections this night. Excellent is all I can say. Capital Grille is always a good choice.

Today I hosted a business lunch at Capital Grille in Uptown Charlotte which was my second visit to this location (had dined previously at the Tyson's Corner, VA location many times). The food was amazing; a tasty and plentiful blackened tenderloin entree salad followed by the table sharing the carrot cake. Capital Grille is consistently excellent in terms of the... More
