The fried pickles were interesting, but very salty. We all had different selections. I had the portobello sandwich, messy to eat, but so good. Others had hamburgers, chicken sand and salads. Service was A-OK! Glad we had a reservation for a Saturday afternoon, it was crowded. Had a hamburger. It was good. Very good. Not sure it was the best burger I ever had good, but it was in fact pretty good. Good, but not great, beer selection.

I'm not too sure how I would rank this restaurant. I'm a bit of a foodie, so I got hung up in some little details..but overall, the restaurant is pretty good. Love the atmosphere... 1. Son had the stuffed dates as an appetizer. These are described as bacon wrapped dates stuffed with blue cheese. I can't imagine what compelled my... More

Enticed by a coupon book. Sandwich too big to handle.Fries mushy and greasy. The menu was limited to several salads and sandwiches. When the 20% gratuity was added, there was not much savings with a coupon. Still I'm glad I didn't pay full price. I don't mind paying for a good meal, but this wasn't it.

My husband and I went for lunch, it was my first time there. I was pleasantly surprised. The decor was very swanky, and created a very cool atmosphere . The staff was super friendly. The food definitely warrants my returning! The turkey burger was very tasty, however the fries is what will have me coming back.....loved the fries!

I have been several times to The Liberty, and each time tell myself I should not go back. Whether it was for the food, an inedible piece of fish, that was soggy and bland, or most recently for dreadfully slow service. I will stick with my most recent encounter for this review. Not sure if they are under-staffed or what... More

We loved the decor in this place as much as the food. Four of us split the Poutine Grown Up Cheese Fries. They were good, I might ask for the gravy on the side next time. We didn't eat them like they were the best food ever. A friend and I split the Prime Ground Pub Burger and the Fish... More

Been here a few times and have always been impressed with both the food and the beer collections. Have ordered burgers that are phenomenal every time, cooked to order so made fresh on site. Big bone in thick cut pork chops seems to be a specialty as well. Another good choice since it comes with what I think is the... More

We don't normally tour downtown Charlotte but went to this area to see The Nutcracker. Having read The Liberty was a really good place and co- owned by an Englishman. We thought this would be a great place for a pint and some authentic Fish and Chips. You know, the Beer battered kind served with Malt Vinegar. Upon ordering, at the... More
