We went to The Melting Pot for the first time and loved it. We ordered their special and basically got a little of everything. The waitstaff was really nice and the options on the menu was endless. This is a "big night out" place that is always fun and special. My daughter and her friends love to be taken here for birthdays, end of school celebrations, etc. It can be very expensive, and you have to be ready to take your time, since you cook your own food in the fondue pots. I've been been to the Melting Pot for diner, which takes a long time to cook your food. But my favorite thing is to go just for desert. Thinking about that warm chocolate over the fruit, cakes, and marshmellows makes me want to go there right now!! They will continue to bring you more fruit until your chocolate is gone. more

Great food, lots of fun, great waiters and staff. We ate at this restaurant during Charlotte Restaurant week for $30 each which included 4 courses including desert. Only had to buy drinks. GREAT deal! more

I had fun with the fondue night, but even though we tried hard to be frugal this restaurant is much too expensive for what you get. We probably won't go back. more
